The Human Bean

I love that we can find a Human Bean so many convenient places in our travels. We were going thru Rocklin and enjoyed a fabulous cup of coffee with wonderful service.

This is by far my most favorite coffee stand! I moved here from Washington where there is coffee stands on every other block.... To move to a world of Starbucks and Dutch Bros. I love pulling up and seeing the same friendly faces! They know my order and love on my dog. It's always so quick and easy meanwhile down the road you would be waiting in line for 20 minutes with kids yelling in your face! The Human Bean is truly a hidden gem and I'm glad I found them! 💕

This place is my go to! The coffee is amazing and they offer a variety of milk alternatives and different drinks. We got the matcha protein smoothie and the chai latte with cinnamon and nutmeg—which is one of my favorite drinks! Definitely recommend paying with the app!

This place is so amazing and Lucy is so great and personable. I see Lucy most days and she's upbeat and friendly. I also wanted to point out that this place has the biggest and best selection of sugar free drinks, you can literally order any of their drinks sugar free, in light a huge coffee chain were only one option is offered for sugar free. AND they always taste DELICIOUS! Honestly the Human Bean rocks!

Great little coffee shop. It's nice to have a drive-thru that actually makes good coffee. The staff is friendly and efficient as well

Decent enough coffee but needs some definite fixes to be competitive with the other big brand names.
1st off, and VERY important - You need to add more flavor to the coffee drinks (all of them), because, even though something may be called "vanilla ___" or "pumpkin___" or "maple___" the flavors are SOOO very very vague that you have to stop and focus very hard to even detect the slightest hint of whatever flavor it is that you've ordered. I should easily taste the flavor I've requested without searching my taste buds to no avail.
2nd - Bigger cups please - you need to justify that cost that you're charging us with a competitive size cup so we don't regret not going to Starbucks, or Pete's, or...
3rd - Please don't drop a candied coffee bean in my coffee or plop one on my lid assuming that I want it. ASK. It may be a cutsie novel thing with the company and I understand it's a trademark move, but not everyone appreciates a melted mess to deal with on their lid or a mysterious lump in the bottom of their cup.
Fix those things and I'll give 5 stars rating but for now, only 3, mainly because of major lack in flavor. I shouldn't have to struggle to detect vanilla, hazelnut, pumpkin spice, maple etc. And I've tried LOTS and LOTS of coffees there.

I love the coffee here. The folks who work at the Rocklin location are always so friendly and I've never had a drink made that wasn't perfect. Customer for life!

Amazing coffee. Good prices. Creative concoctions. Yummy Matcha. Quick drive thru service. Not annoying and over the top. 😏 and the coffee itself is delicious not burnt and sour tasting whatsoever unlike some places 😏

It was slow when I went so I thought I'd take advantag & ask for a recommendation, I had specifications, trying to make my drink as low carb as possible. They were great, recommended a hot drink made with their coconut milk, she took the time to compare their milks, great choice, delicious! I would totally recommend them!

So much better than Starbucks or Petes. Staff is curtious and friendly and don't have a political agenda. Have not been to a Starbucks, (at 2x the price with long lines and slow service ) since the Human Bean opened...Even my two dobermans love the canine cups full of goodies...👍
