It’s a chill hangout spot. Eclectic with lots of old books and old mismatched couches. Lots of dust and grime hidden away in those books and crannies. Definitely has a spiritual new age vibe to it.
Their pricing is odd: I was charged $4.19 for 16 oz single shot iced americano, this was not advertised anywhere and was significantly higher then a regular americano... why? Is the ice that expensive?

Low key, comfortable coffee shop. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Parking lot is tiny so if you drive here, expect to park in the metered parking instead.
Open mic on Sunday nights.

My favourite cafe in LA since moving from Australia a couple months ago. Good espresso, chill vibe, and ample seating. Reminded me of the places back home.

Great local coffee hangout. The place is unique and it feels more like an old bookstore lounge. The coffee is great but it varies considerably depending on which barista is on.

If you need a place to check in to the internet, have a coffee drink (maybe a pastry) and curl up on a comfy couch, this is the place. Tons of books to read, some tables to play games on and tons of chill. They hold readings here, too. Love this place.

Got a hot cocoa and mocha latte here. Always been really good. Great selection. The chocolate in my mocha was really good!

Love this place ❤️ just wish it wasn’t always so crowded!!!
Came here on a Monday to study 📚 and it was packed 🐠 🐟 🐠 couldn’t even find a table to share. A year ago it was not like this. Oh well 🤷♀️

My friend wanted to go to Coffee Cartel to do homework and asked if I wanted to come with her. Since I had the day open, I went along for some coffee and WiFi.
Coffee Cartel is spacious. It's like one big living room with plenty of tables, wooden chairs, and old couches for you to sit and enjoy your cup of coffee and study. There's also a few bookshelves filled with books for your reading pleasure.
After settling down on a couch that I was comfortable in, I walked to the front counter and ordered my coffee. I had a large vanilla latte w/an extra shot of expresso($5.10) and a sausage & cheese breakfast sandwich ($3.85). My friend also ordered a large white chocolate latte. Her latte wasn't strong enough that she had to order 1 more. She ended up spending over $10 on coffee for one study session. Yiiikes!! Pretty pricey for an average coffeehouse.
The cool thing about this coffee house is the free WiFi but you gotta get the password at the counter. Parking is in a very small lot that's shared with other establishments.

One of the coziness and coolest coffee shops in the South Bay. Great location for a date night, a game of chess with friends, or just stopping in for a coffee after a gelato from next door!

Mochacloviatto I think it's called. It's espresso, chocolate and cloves. It was absolutely delicious. Guys were friendly and the environment spacious with lots of seating space inside and outside. Local advertisements posted on boards, it felt like a local coffee house with WIFI and plenty of books. I'll be back
