Don't be fooled by the Gas Station Bakery facade, The Hearth is great! We found this place on accident doubling back to settle for something else. The menu is stacked with difficult choices, so much good stuff! Can vouch for the Not So Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Chi Bowl with tofu, as delicious and solid portions (best enjoyed on the patio). Bummed to miss out on the cronuts (get there early I was told) but got some delicious cookies for the road. Catch this location with easy on/off access to the 5 and a Chevron with a convenience store for your other travel needs.

Very friendly environment. Not very crowded and the people that work there very nice. Cashier could have been more organized on communication from our order ro rhe cooks. They forgot to make us an additional potatoes and side of bread. Otherwise, taste of food was very good

So disappointed. Really thought it would be better. It was ok. The “ham” was slice lunch ham meat . The salsa was can Version . The toast was not so toasty more warn bread. Only grape jelly🙁. Won’t be coming back.

I have really noticed a decline in this location and the market street location. Im not sure if they have had a management change or if it's a lack of management that is the problem but food quality and service has really been disappointing lately. Its also upsetting that for 5 years I have had the same order and all of a sudden my order no longer comes with fries. Same cost, but now it's extra for the fries that used to come with it.

The food is great. We had the California chicken sandwich with fries and a cobb salad. Both were delicious, well balanced, and flavorful. We also got the blueberry crumble pie which was delicious! We went back the next morning to grab coffee before hitting the road and it was very good. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the covid-19 protocol is great. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

I’m revisiting this review because I think my 3 star wasn’t fair. Nobody can be perfect all the time and I had one disappointing experience. They have consistently good quality and service. Early in the pandemic when they started taking delivery orders for staples like bread, cheese, meats, etc.one of the owners was out doing deliveries himself. I’ve ordered from one of their other establishments and also had food delivered by an owner... not every owner cares that much, but they do. That’s what you can expect from them, and that’s what they’ve shown over and over. A commitment to doing a great job and that is what they should be reviewed for.

Here’s my original review which is technically accurate but not representative of their high standards.

The food is good but the menu is limited and don’t try to order off-menu. For example, our family’s Valentines Day tradition since having kids is going to FTH and getting French Toast. They no longer have regular French Toast on the menu. I asked if they could make it and was told that only make the “Mascarpone-Stuffed Croissant French Toast” now. They have bread, they have eggs, they have all of the other ingredients but won’t do it. Even McDonalds does off-menu orders.

They accidentally messed up.on my Thai Fusion Wrap due to accidentally putting the sweet sauce when I originally requested for no sauce. But! They not only remade my wrap pretty quickly without the sauce included within the sandwich, but they gave me garlic fries to go with it. How cool is that! Ya'll are Awesome Sauces with a capital A 😁😁😁😎

I came in for a Dorito and Onion pie. Unfortunately, they weren't able to make it. The good news is they were able to bake my 2nd favorite, which is a Cheeseburger Pickle Pie. It's good to have friends in High places that value their customers.

I was recommended the teriyaki bowl by the staff and its gross. The seasoning is NOT teriyaki. The chicken was over cooked and dry. Very dissatisfied

If I lived here this would be my favorite restaurant! Absolutely outstanding! Mom had the Tokyo Steak bowl. I had the Yakuza bowl. Super flavorful! Tender meat and veggies cooked perfect. Outstanding!!!
