This is a wonderful family run restaurant. The fish and chips here are amazing! The burgers are also wonderful. There is limited seating so there can be a wait. The food is worth the wait. I would have posted pictures but we inhaled everything before I remembered to take photos.

Stopped at this place the morning of 3/27/17. Wished we could have tried the food fare but the lone waitress seemed to be bothered by our presence the moment we came in. Left before we ordered because she never came to our table.

Food was very good, and delicious coffee as well.

Surprisingly great food with large portions in a fairly remote location near the lighthouse. We got the fish and chips and the chicken pesto sandwich, both were fantastic! Also, great, kind service.

Was pretty good. Seating was easy. Staff nice enough I suppose, smiling and warmth could be more genuine. The food was delicious though. That gets the stars (really 3.5) to 4. The service was ok as long as you spoke up and asked for coffee refills and jam for biscuits, if you like that sort of thing.

I had a delicious vegetarian omelet with perfectly crispy hash browns. My veggies were well seasoned and cooked and the omelet was fluffy. The staff was friendly and we even got to chat with a couple from Michigan who came out to specifically visit Point Arena.

Great place to take breakfast on the way down the Highway 1!

We have always had a great meal & service.
Our last stop I had the chicken pesto sandwich, that was superb!
My husband got the angus burger, which he always gets for lunch there.
Have been before for breakfast as well and never disappoints.
Great place to stop while traveling Hwy 1.
Point Arena lighthouse is right down the road.
Hours have changed due to the pandemic, so call ahead to make sure they are open.

Covid has changed many things, added pressures and restrictions. The ordering via the front door is bulky and slow, and I am not really sure how it avoids anything or helps. It does cause a bottleneck in a small area of one door at a crowded entrance ramp area, so people are right on top of each other. Now for the food, nice Caesar salad and burger for lunch, simple, nothing amazing. The prices are typical for this hot tourist area, so expected. Service was a little slow, but we enjoyed sitting in the covered deck area. It was a bit awkward that our check arrived way before our food, but no big deal. All and all a nice stop and respite on the crazy Route 1, good simple food, nice staff, and generally a welcome stop

Their food may be good but I’ll never know. Upon calling you could tell they were extremely frazzled. I waited while two different people asked me to hold whilst screaming out demands to other employees. The lady that eventually took my order was quite perturbed in doing so. Short, curt, & made me feel like placing a carryout was the ultimate inconvenience. Once I stated my order she huffed - it’ll be at least a half an hour, maybe more. I canceled my order because why give your money to a business that is clearly aggravated in dealing with customers.
