Very cozy place with limited outdoor seating but great food and coffee. I tried one of the avocado toasts and it was absolutely delicious!!! The iced coffee was also delicious and I will be back to try the pastries. Totally recommend it! 👌🏼

I love this place! 100% vegan coffee shop?! Yes please! I'm lactose intolerant, so for me to go to a place like this and be able to eat and drink anything on the menu is awesome! Plus, I love small businesses. I ordered a mocha and a classic waffle. It was so amazing with fresh fruit on top! The coffee is great too! Yum! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

This is a very odd little gem of a café. Long lines for an experience of eating breakfast in a parking lot. No indoor seating in the establishment just in the parking lot. Very crowded at 10:30 on a Friday morning. Lots of strollers. Apparently this is the place to be. Gluten-free waffles and donuts is an excellent way to fill up a parking lot and we enjoyed it but it got to be so loud and chaotic with dogs and kids and strollers That we chose to take a walk around the neighborhood. I figured this would be a coffee house but instead they just offered drip coffee which was fine.

What can I say other than WOW? I tried the yogi waffle and the lemon blueberry waffle. Both were spectacular but the lemon blueberry was my favorite. Best vegan waffles in the east bay. Also tried the summer's dream toast (avocado toast with tomatoes and cucumber) and avacado dream toast. The summer's dream toast was delicious. Everything tastes so fresh, I cant believe I hadn't tried ROOTED sooner. There was a bit of a wait because it's a popular place, but there was a great outdoor dining area to sit and relax.

Great people make great coffee and delicious food. The team at Rooted does a great job of making you feel welcome and appreciated. Their iced latte w almond milk and nitro cold brew are awesome. The avocado dream is fantastic - gotta try it!

Can't say enough praise for this place. Staff is always personable, authentic and happy. Coffee and food options are unique and delicious.

And, the Mega Oh Donut is phenomenal!

This place is a dream! Everything is so delicious - definitely my favorite coffee or breakfast spot. Service is reliably friendly and they are relatively quick (though they can be verrry busy at peak times, just like anywhere else, and worth the wait). Online ordering is great for those in a rush. We’ve had everything from coffee, cardamom lattes, lavender matcha lattes, waffles of all kinds, avocado toasts (thick bread and generous toppings - “Make it Fresh” is my favorite). Donuts. Parfaits. It’s ALL delightful! Specialty drinks can be a little sweet, but they’ll modify accordingly. Everything is vegan, yet still a crowd pleaser even for our “meat and potatoes” loved ones. It’s a little spendy, but the quality more than justifies the price.

Rooted Coffee has nice food. I only stopped by for a coffee ☕️ today, but it's a good spot to meet up with friends. I love avocado 🥑 on toast 😋. Give Rooted Coffee Co. a try.

Great place to get a great cup of coffee. Dirty chai with one shot, lavender vanilla flavor and oat milk was sooooo delicious!

It's no wonder this is a popular coffee and community hotspot!!! Not only do they have great coffee and many breakfast options including vegan options like multiple avocado toast options and the waffles are Amazing!!! The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful!! Thanks for the great experience and will be back soon. Almost forgot, this is a dog friendly location...
