I was there the Friday after Thanksgiving and I think I was given a little attitude by one of the attendants there.

Sometimes there is a bit of a wait and there's no drive through

Great coffee and friendly staff! You can either grab a coffee sit and enjoy it inside or take a walk in Pleasant Hill downtown. It's such a great area and generally, I like Peet's coffee even though I'm more into medium roasted coffee. I feel their coffee is little less stronger than Starbucks. Sadly, they don't have a location near me.

Classic local coffee shop with a very friendly staff

Good coffee.
The servers here are always friendly, and since my friends and I are pretty regular patrons of this Pete's, they have pretty much memorized our orders.
Its always clean, and a great place to hang out. Definitely would go to over a Star bucks any day.

Have been a devout Peet's Coffee fan since the early 1980's to the point that I had shipped to Colorado while I was in college. The team member are friendly and well versed in their coffees and teas. You can relax there and enjoy your coffee/tea/hot chocolate or take it to go. The quality of Peet's coffee has remained the same now for the over 40 years I have been consuming it. Hope you enjoy it too.

Used to work here. Since they have gone public they seem to have lost their focus on the purity of the coffee bean. They have an open air display for the baked goods and I have seen flies land on the croissant I was going to buy, luckily they still had some in the back. The coffee still tastes great.

Everyone is nice, but one of the managers can be a bit abrupt, and some register staff are under trained and don't always know the answer to things, but i like thos location mainly because 99% very helpful staff

Coffee and Tea is good, but the staff is unbelievable. There was a very long line and while I entered there were two cashiers and one barista. While the line got longer one of the cashiers decided to pack coffee instead of serving the crowd. But my personal highlight was the fourth person (obviously at the end of her shift) leaving with her Starbucks mug. If you don't stand behind your company, why work there? After this experience I also switch back to Starbucks. This was my first and last Peets.

Amazing place of many coffees, teas and hot chocolate. My friends in Kansas City always ask me to bring back a bag of the Major Dickasons. One of their best sellers. They also have assorted snack items to complement their beverages. A Berkeley original that has blossomed into a huge success
