Delicious food, with plenty of options for people with diverse tastes or restrictive dietary limitations. I had the buckwheat pancakes with real maple syrup, eggs over medium, and bacon. For my drink, I had an East Coast oat latte.
The bacon was thick cut and cooked firm but not overly crispy. Eggs were slightly over what I prefer but still with plenty of liquid yolk, the pancakes were flavorful and filling. I've never had buckwheat before. Yum!
The pinnacle of my breakfast was that latte. $6.20 after tax makes it pricey, but hoo boy. Worth it! A plant milk (or mylk, as they called it) based beverage really benefits from the recipe being tailored around its flavor. I liked it so much, I got a second one to go.
Very nice, friendly staff.

My husband and I spent 5 days in Pismo Beach on vacation. We found the Honeymoon Cafe by accident a few years ago when we were there. Because we had to walk out of another cafe for neglectful service. We walked down the block and found them. We are so happy we did. We ate breakfast or lunch there everyday. The food is amazing and healthy! The employees are always nice.

I would definitely consider going to Honeymoon Cafe for my honeymoon. People there seem to be happy. I heard that SLO is one of the happiest places. I didn't really believe that for a while. I assumed that people in SLO were more concerned about being perceived as happy than actually being happy. So whenever they would take a happiness test, they would check all the happy boxes. After going to Honeymoon Cafe I realized SLO people might actually be happy. I wanted to go up to the people there and ask them how they were being happy. I've been working on being happy so I bought a bunch of "how to be happy" books. The books haven't been fully working though. I guess it makes sense, just because I read a book on happiness doesn't mean I'm magically going to be happy after. That would be like expecting to become a NBA player after reading a "how to become a NBA player" book. There are probably so many ways to become a NBA player just like there are so many ways to be happy. How is one book able to capture all those ways?! That's why I'm starting to have a distrust for these "how to be happy" books. I feel like they might be a money grab. I wouldn't be surprised if a "how to write a how to be happy" book came out. Anyways, maybe I should be reading less "how to be happy" books and instead just gravitate towards happy people. I would probably learn a lot more taking notes from them. That's why I want to go back to Honeymoon Cafe, the people seem happy and the food was delicious.

It was good. So good they ran out of items. I was happy with what I got. Really good coffee. The people were friendly. I'd come back again.

I loved the hip place of this vibe .
The food was average but they had vegan options for breakfast so that's why we went there.
But the coffee was really really good.

Wow! I am so impressed. Everything tasted so fresh and they were so quick. Highly recommend this breakfast spot. We ordered the Brussel Hash & Eggs and the Yolko-Ono Burrito. Both were satisfying and just the right amount of food for two hungry travellers

Massive lattes, delicious food and quick service even on a Saturday morning. Plenty of options even for my gluten and egg free gf! Best breakfast in Pismo hands down!

This is a very cool little...emphasis on little place in town. They keep the doors wide open and it's on a main street so there's road noise which explains why they sell more take out than dine in.

AMAZING SERVICE!!!! Absolutely great food, and awesome style. This isn't food, this is lifestyle. Pet friendly, and has bathrooms open. Smoothies are top notch. Amazing eggs, I recommend there cowboy burrito. But I haven't gone a lot yet, but I'll go everyday, and sometimes I drive from los angles just to get this food.
