Delicious coffee in a warm atmosphere. This is what a coffeehouse is supposed to be; unlike the mass-produced, overcrowded fast-food vibe at most other places. My wife and son and I dropped by yesterday and relaxed for a half an hour. It was like taking a mini-vacation. Today, I ground up some of their Costa Rica blend and read the paper -- delicious!
You might not notice this spot in a brick industrial type building, but make it a destination.

Jameson Brown Coffee Roasters is one of my favorite places to have coffee during the colder winter months. The fireplace, couches, bookshelves, and chair cushions give it a warm, fuzzy feeling.
The coffee is roasted on-site, usually the night before. If you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the roaster during a late afternoon.
The coffee is excellent and if it is too strong or weak for your liking, the weight staff will happily amend it.
Plenty of seating space and the audience is always mixed with a nice combination of leisure readers, college and grad students, as young professionals.

The coffee is great. The hours are horrible!! Closed on Sunday? Everyone drinks coffee on a Sunday! Closed after 2pm? What?

Don't come here. All seating is always full. There is no parking. There is no music. There are many Hipsters, with metal and tats, hoping you will notice. It's the PCC side piece. Don't come here. I go here to buy Ethiopian Highlands coffee by the pound. I take it home. I grind as needed. Spectacular. You should not come here as it is not a pickup place, the parking is really bad, there is basically no food, and they are not open on Sunday. You should continue to go to Starbucks so their supply of cheap, over - roasted beans can be consumed. I will continue to quietly buy excellent, spectacular beans and you can pretend that Starbucks is still a thing. Really. Just do not grow up, OK?

Park along Locust St since they don't really have their own parking lot. Just walking up to their building, you can smell their roasted coffee beans.
There are 8 barrels of different coffee beans for purchase. If you like they drip coffee, I'd recommend buying some for your home.
Tried their Vienna Latte; reminds me of a Spanish Latte but not as good. I prefer their regular Latte, although I've only had everything iced since it's the summer.
Way better than Intelligentsia of Old Town Pasadena

I may be biased, so you are warned. However, I have spoken to many fellow customers of Jamison Brown over the years. Among those who stay and enjoy their coffee and pastries the consensus I have found is that they really like the vibe Jamison Brown has. For many, it is social place to meet up with a few (or new) friends before going out into the world to slay their personal dragons of the day.
Others, those who usually take their drinks and snacks to go, happily wait in line for the quality, value, cheerful staff and, well... they tell me they just like the place.
I am a proud father. My daughter manages Jamison Brown. She cares about her staff and her customers like few other people I have ever met in my life.
I have an idea that you can find an excellent cup of coffee, a bit of comfort, and a smile if you need one, anytime you want to stop by.

Best coffee joint in Pasadena. Barrels of a variety of coffee beans to choose from. You can buy by the pound. Unique latte flavors like horchata and Mayan. Nice place to meet up with friends, a coffee date and studying.

I like coming here and having some tea, a food item, and some down time once a week.
The people are always busy on their projects and the staff is always cranking out the coffee for everybody.
I haven't had a bad experience here since I've been coming and the coffee/tea are always good.
Sometimes there is no seating inside so come early or sit outside and get some fresh air and chat a bit with the locals.

The best coffee anywhere around. The lavender latte and the mocha are stellar, and they always have wonderful baked goods. Kind staff and excellent service, too!

I first ordered a chia latte over ice . It was awful way too spicy cinnamony. So I returned it and got the pumpkin latte again I didnt care for it all. They were both just way overkill on the spices. And the guy that made the 2 nd drink was pretty rude. I wonder if he made it bad on purpose. Anyways I dont reccomend this place at all.
