Amazing coffee. There are lots of coffee shops out there but when you find one that has people who obviously care about coffee, you know it. This was my first time going but will not be my last, the coffee was roasted well and prepared perfectly. I am so happy to have found a shop close to work that makes an americano I want to drink for the flavor, not just a caffeine boost.

Fun cafe, enjoyed our time there. It’s definitely the only coffee shop that I’ve been to in which they also sell snickers and sports equipment! The coffee was good and the service was ok also. They have tables and seating both indoors and outdoors.

Two great little coffee shops in the same street! Backyard might have the vibe, bit i think zobierunner has the edge in coffee? Hard to say. Better try both and decide which is your favorite.

Phenomenal. So I only had their hot chocolate - I was extremely skeptical when I saw the size/price, but wow. I might consider myself an amateur hot chocolate connoisseur, and this was the most incredible hot chocolate in my life. Extremely rich.

A sport shoe store that sells coffee, or a coffee store that sells sport shoes. Mostly for running/walking and the other bits associated with training for that craft. However, I would say that most come for the coffee, which is delicious and my go-to when going to Palo Alto in general.

Perhaps *the* best coffee in Palo Alto. They used to be a running shoe & accessories store, but became a daily destination when they added their coffee bar. Their coffee beans are pricy, but fantastic and their oat milk lattes are perfectly made.

Unique place like sports shop with a coffee bar. Not so much sitting options, but the coffee was great.

They claim to have speciality coffee but the taste wasn’t okay but not perfect today

Amazing coffees, teas and hot chocolates! Great location. Highly recommend. Also very kid friendly.

I used to live around the corner from this place on Cal Ave. Once you become a regular, it's easy to forget how odd the combination of a running shoe shop and an amazing coffee place is - but you'll be reminded every time you bring a friend here for the first time.
This place consistently pours the best coffee I've had in the Bay Area, sometimes with quirky little latte art but always delicious.
It also has a great selection of running shoes and the friendly folks that run the shop are really passionate runners.
Ideal place for a coffee break during the Sunday farmers market which happens right outside on Cal Ave.
