I've come here maybe five times now (local) and every time it's always just eh. Of course it's very expensive, but my biggest complaint is that the food really takes forever to come. And when it does come it's usually very bland. I've had the avocado toast, the breakfast burrito, and a breakfast sandwich. You're paying around $13 for unsalted, unfilling meals that equate to the flavor of bread. The coffee drinks are delicious though.

Cute local spot serving nitro cold brew on tap. We stopped in after a Saturday hike and there was a mini pop-up market of local products. Good vibes, great coffee.

Staff was great this morning, and the breakfast burrito was lit. Definitely recommend the breakfast burrito from their breakfast menu.

So good!! The vibe is so relaxed and peaceful especially with the music on the patio. The food is so fresh and clearly made to order. Love that you can get a bagel and lox and a real breakfast burrito in the same place. Seriously, you'll love it here.

Love the staff. Clean environment. Great food and drinks.
Will definitely be back.

Sweet place. They use a window in the shop to take orders for walk up (and they allow call in orders) thus allowing for social distancing etc. They give you a table sign with a positive word (instead of a number) and bring your order to you. Clearly covid measures are going to revert back to allowing people to go inside again though, honestly this set up at the window is nice. It's in their little courtyard seating area with shade from a tree. It has a lovely community fave café feel. There are tables in this courtyard and any time I've been there neighbors and friends are running into each other and catching up. Now the really sweet set up is in the back. With chairs and couches to chill and hang out with family and friends. There's a big chalkboard to play on too. They're dog friendly. The menu is small though solid. Great choice all around.

Love Social Cafe is a darling outdoor cafe in Ojai, CA. Sadly, our experience with the food served there was disappointing. Total of eleven customers ( including our party ) there when we ordered at the window. I received the wrong order with microwaved eggs. Another in our party also had the same rubbery eggs. After over forty minutes, two of of our party still had not received their order. Two others in our party shared one of their smoked salmon on a bagel with them ( hard to mess this up ). Our time was pressing and the owner did refund the money to the two in our party that did not receive their order. We were given some gluten free peanut butter cookies ( think dry sand ) . Hopefully, this is a total anomaly, and is a rare occurrence. I rarely write a negative review, but my hope is that this charming place corrects this problem.

Loved this little cafe! The employees were all super kind, food was amazing and coffee was very tasty! I loved the outdoor seating and the overall ambiance. Would definitely return if I’m ever back in the area :)

I had the veggie tacos without the Serrano peppers. Not noteworthy. Definitely wish I would’ve eaten elsewhere. Maybe I just picked the wrong thing to eat? Not sure. But won’t be going back to find out.

I used to love the Italian restaurant that was located on this site a few years ago. But this Cafe / coffee shop is a very nice replacement. The inside is fairly sterile and not particularly comfortable, but the outside on the patio is very nice. There are number of tables both shaded and unshaded, easy access to a bathroom, and a nice cluster of rattan cushioned seats which I think are the best. The mountain view from these seats in particular is very nice. The size of the coffee is generous, and tastes very rich and very strong. There are also wraps and lunch/snack items for those who want to eat a bit more. I was impressed by how many people were there on a Saturday afternoon. I can't speak to how busy it is at other times. All in all it is perhaps my favorite (most relaxed) of the four or five coffee shops in Ojai.
