But they helped him before me so I walked out. Can't tell you about the Latte I was gonna get. If he was a courier, someone should have made it clear. A regular customer??

If I could give java John's 7 stars I would! We stopped in for a quick bite. I got a bagel sandwich. It was so fresh, flavorful and delicious! My husband got a sandwich, also top notch. I was full half way through but finished it anyway because I didn't want to waste a bite of either the bagel or the sandwich.
AND the staff was great- very personable and kind. If I lived in town, I would want to be friends with these people. We came in this morning as we were heading out of town because I really wanted to try one of their specialty lattes- which was delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

Great small business! I needed to put together a catered breakfast for a family in Nevada City and the owner Elizabeth helped me make it happen in just a few days over phone and email. She was personable and flexible with special dietary requests like GF and vegan. We went with a combo of bagels, egg bites, coffee, and freshly squeezed OJ for the group. Don't hesitate to work with Elizabeth on catering orders - she and her business are awesome!

I really enjoyed stopping here for a sandwich and a tasty beverage. The vibe is trendy, yet earthy- and the service was good. They have a variety of breakfast and lunch items for all types of diets. (Gluten free, vegan etc.)

I actually stopped in twice in one day recently. The first time for a sandwich and a drink where I grabbed a table and dined in - the second time I popped in just for a drink to go.

On my first visit I had the Cali Turkey and an Iced Mocha with an extra shot. The sandwich was very good and was served with a side of Kale Salad that was AMAZING. The Mocha was just okay. I added a shot of espresso but couldn't taste the coffee. I didn't really taste chocolate either, so I was disappointed with that drink.

The second time I stopped in I got a berry Iced Tea to go. Now that was a TASTY BEVERAGE!! The Berry Iced Tea was flavorful and refreshing, and was the perfect drink for a hot day.

Don't be in a hurry when you stop in because from what I could see, they are always pretty busy. All in all I would recommend that you give them a try if you're in the area.

Perfect lil spot to catch up on some computer work. I had a delectable rose latte w oat milk. The food menu varied to fulfill options for any diet/allergies, including desserts. Staff was friendly and quick to offer advice of local area. Seating ranged from table/chair, bar, and squishy chairs by the window.
