In my search for healthy, organic food in the area, I came across this place and so glad I did! Absolutely delicious, fresh, healthy food and clean facilities. Me and my family went in one day for asai bowls, smoothies and coffee and returned the next day for lunch - we had some awesome grab and go kale caesar's and a chicken & cabbage with peanut sauce wraps (and more coffee). Staff was friendly. I learned that this location has only been open for 6 months or so. So glad I found this gem, which is much needed in this town, as the choices for healthy / organic options are very slim. My only regret is I didn't try the Kombucha! We will be back!

Super impressed with the freshness and quality of the food and beverages they serve at Alua's. It's an ideal spot for me to stop for lunch while running errands in Mt Shasta. When I lived in SoCal, there was a place similar that I loved to frequent because I knew the food was always fresh and healthy. I haven't had that experience for years until I visited Alua's the first time. The staff is great and the ambiance relaxing. I enjoyed a wrap with my kombucha. Oh, and they also sell bottles of their kombucha to go so you can take good health home.

Went in to get for my birthday a latte. Ordered a regular milk latte, but was given an oat latte. I saw the barista heating up oat and when asked about she realized her mistake. I asked if I could try, and it was not too bad. So I took it. I very much regret not having asked for a latte with regular milk. I got nauseated afterwards, and the oat latte tasted sugary and on top of it I feel like the latte with $5.38 was way overpriced. I considered ordering something from their menu, but their electronic menu is hard to read from afar, the letters are too small and everything is capitalized.

No public wi-fi in this coffee bar. Good music.

This place is great! Yummy smoothies and avocado bagel options. Gluten Free stuff as well.

Really nice selection of healthy food and drinks. Only downside is that salads and wraps are premade in disposable containers. Seems like it creates a lot of unnecessary waste, but the food tasted very nourishing with good energy.

Excellent healthy products. We loved the apple cinnamon and hibiscus ginger kombucha! We also got the Maca Mocha smoothie! Fantastic view of My Shasta from inside and outside! Great, friendly customer service!

They staff has been rude to me twice. The first time I stood in line while two cashiers spoke to the customers in front of me for 15 minutes even though those customers had already received their items. I left. The second time I came in 15 minutes before closing as the door was open and a staff member rudely said, “We’re closed if you can’t tell.” I said, “I couldn’t tell. The door was open and it’s within store hours.” I vowed to never come back.

Great food and great vibes. Wish I had one nearby.
