Sun-N-Buns Bakery & Espresso Bar

Loved this little place. Service was great pastries were delicious. I had a cappuccino my husband had coffee and it was delicious very fresh. We were very pleased.

Great coffee latte. Fresh grounded coffee beans with right espresso taste. The apple turnover is one of the best!

For someone who loves cakes, pastries and a good coffee cuppa this is a quaint cafe that you should visit. They have that perfect bakery smell lingering around and have a whole lot of things to chose from. wifi is free and they also have treats available for your furry friend. If we had more time I am sure we would have tried the entire menu. The peach popover was the groups favourite :)

I have been coming here my whole life……
as a local when you envision MB you think of a small list of visuals, sights and smells…… and this BAKERY is a STAPLE for all three of those senses :)

Found this place on a whim. Absolutely LOVED it. I will definitely come to Morro Bay for this bakery alone. Best iced chai tea latte I’ve ever had. It was difficult to pick a sweet treat, they all looked too good. My husband and I settled on a chocolate dipped coconut macaroon bc they were small and we wanted to save our appetite for dinner. They were so good we came back the next day to take all they had to take home to our family.

Baked goods, ice cream and desserts here along with fresh baked dog treats. Best item I had was the apple turnovers, apples overflowing the pastry. Cupcakes were excellent but a bit small. Our dogs loved the treats. Will go there again when we return to Morrow Bay.

Absolutely delicious home-made pastries and delicious coffee beverages! The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the area and carried great conversations with customers! Very welcoming at every visit (x4)! Will definitely return duting next year's vacation! (Also, loved their mascot who was cute, friendly, and adventurous! Lol! 👍😃)

I went in here on a whim today, glad I did there was a teen - Gavin who was super polite and very friendly made a bomb tasting chocolate shake. For work I bought 2 dozen cookies. I wished all kids today were this nice.

[ CONS ]

+ No restrooms BUT there are public toilets just outside across the little park. Warming, toilet seats are extremely cold You'll know what I mean when you see it.

Pro Tip:
Buy a large cup of hot coffee, walk across the street to the look out dock next to Libertine and watch the sea lions :)
