The pastries are amazing! The coffee not so much! But I would go back to buy up all the fresh pastries! 😁 Great location! On and off the highway. Easy access!

A lovely coffee place with tasty coffee and delicious pastries. The garden is a wonderful place to sit. My favorite experience was walking here in the morning - so peaceful!

Best coffee in town, I believe! After years of trial and error we discovered MBCC. Organic, flavorful coffee choices and never once disappointed. Convenient location right next to the Hwy 1.

Customer service isn't the defining feature here. I've worked all manner of customer service, food service, front desk etc etc where it's your duty to be on at all times. I know how thankless the public can be to these workers so i always make sure to greet, thank and tip . All but 1 of the workers has been flat out unpleasant. There is a young man who works there, he looks to be about 19 to 21 years old he is always friendly. However the two older gentlemen, who I assume are the owners barely give a sideways glance when I greet them or visit them a good day as I leave. There is a one who is on the shorter pumper side and while she does make a mean BLT, she has got to be one of the most unpleasant person I've encountered in the public service industry in a long time. no matter how many times I go in there , am friendly thank her and put bills in the tip jar, right in front of her, she continues to be sour . I try to keep in mind that we don't know what other people are going through and maybe she is having a personal crisis or is going through some struggles but damn!
it just really stands out to me that maybe one employee had the normal level of people skills you'd expect in a coffee shop.
Lastly, I've been ordering the same thing twice a week for two or three months and literally every time I order it, they make it differently!! It's never the same way twice. They Just slap it together how they see fit or how they feel like doing it that day. It makes it so it's always a surprise, will it be slathered with a gallon of Mayo? Will it be toasted? Will it have two pounds of bacon? Will it have spinach instead of romaine? Will it have any produce at all?

My wife and I stopped by the Morro Bay Coffee company for a quick breakfast and a coffee. We were greeted by the owner, a clear disciple of the coffee bean and fellow seeker of perfection. The coffee was perfect, the chai delicious and the pasties and sandwich a perfect compliment for the flora and fauna that surrounded the comfortable and spacious seating. Well worth the time and the money.

Really great coffee! They are right off the round about by the freeway entrance, so they are very convenient to get to.
My Dads Memorial plaque is right across the street in the center divider, so say hello to Albert you go by 👋🏽
He loved Morro Bay and loved his coffee, so cheers him when you get yours! This is my favorite coffee stop in MB ☕️

+ Great breakfast bagel sandwiches that are made fresh — no rubbery eggs and the very dank. My favorite is the Everything Bagel breakfast sandwich that comes with bacon.
+ wonderful baked goods selection and fairly priced. They even have a “one day old” selection for $1! And they are always good. I love their lemon bar!
+ Convenient location near the freeway and gas station. Not the most pleasant area, but it easy to get to when going in and out of town.
+ Great offering of coffee and tea selection. I also find their lemonades really good when you’re looking for something refreshing. I’ve tried their Chai latte a couple times now and it’s not their best. It tastes more like a horchata and is too milky (not enough of a chai kick).
+ Friendly and fast service — doesn’t get better than that when you need a cup of joe quickly.
+ lots of patio seating! Since the pandemic they have expanded it more so that it’s easier for their guest to social distance
+ interior is cozy and quaint. Lots of local art for purchase on the walls.

Sunrise, Mocha Latte and a delicious warm berry muffin. Friendly service, and open early!

This is a quaint little self-serve coffe joint nested in Morro Bay. It's very small, but still good. I tried one of their specialty roasts today and I have to say it was just okay. I was expecting a little more boldness in flavor but it came off pretty mild. I stopped here to visit a friend who lives nearby and would again if visiting again. Just don't expect in your face type of flavor. Think Starbucks Pike Place and you've got an idea.
