The customer service was spot on and the waitresses were friendly. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese scramble which came out fairly quickly. We also ordered the looney and that was delicious as well. It's one of their most popular dishes. The only negative thing I will mention is that if you ask for gravy with your biscuit, they charge you $3, which was not worth it at all. They gravy tasted off, as I'm not sure what they used to make their mix (maybe ham?). I know it wasn't sausage. The gravy wasn't worth the money.

Server- Toby.
She is extremely rude, I clicked skip on card tip because I was going to leave her a cash tip. She was very quick to say “it’s how we make a living” rudely, which I then decided not to give a cash tip regards to that comment. She then printing out my recipe and says “ thanks guys, seriously thanks NO tip and starts laughing”out loud for everyone to hear. Me and my family are not from morro bay, Heard great things about this Restaurant and sadly, had a horrible experience because of her.

Hubby and I went here for brunch and the food was really good. I got the sausage and cheese scramble and the ratio of sausage to egg was perfect! The only problem is I did find what I think was an eyebrow hair in my hash browns so that kinda ruined my appetite a bit!

The reason for this review is this. If you say you are open till 2pm and a customer walks in at 120pm, after driving 20 minutes just to be told we are closed and we see others being served. Then make sure you put on your website and yelp that you will not serve people at 120pm. I totally get it that's its the holiday and you want to get home. But this might be that reason why people are forgetting that rule. Goid Customer service.

Classic mom and pops diner. Could tell it was a popular local place but they were very welcoming to tourists. Food was amazing and there were so many different menu ideas to pick from. I would recommend their homemade biscuits with some butter and jam. Definitely an old fashion place with the decor but who cares if the food is as good as it is!

Great diner. The service was perfect. Omg. Has to be the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. A scoop of whipped butter on top then melted butter poured over it. Had to get one on are way home from are vacation.

Great food. You get seated, the waitress takes your order, and the next thing you know, your food is in front of you. It's definitely a must for breakfast in Morro Bay.

Great service! Second visit and was even better this time. Arrived about an hour before closing. Got a table right away despite it being a busy holiday.
Really could not choose so my server offered many helpful suggestions. Decided on a western omelette, country potatoes, and biscuit. This is a real omelette, my friends. Generous amount of sauteed ingredients folded inside the egg mixture. Not a pile of stuffed dumped on top of some scrambled eggs as SO many other places call an omelette. Country potatoes were OK. Looked like pan fried slices of unpeeled russets. Could have benefitted from the addition of onions and bell peppers. Didn't see the hash browns served to anyone so I can't compare.
Biscuit was not THE one I'm searching for. Not awful, not great. Didn't crumble apart when I added butter. Bland taste and texture. Sadly, so many restaurants consider a biscuit as merely a vessel for gravy. Blasphemy! A good biscuit is a delicious work of art. Flavor, texture, temperature all have to be just right to achieve biscuit perfection. If you've ever had a good homemade buttermilk biscuit hot out of the oven, you know what I mean. Nothing else is good enough.
Anyway, service was great as I said. Server (whose name I failed to get) was patient, informative, helpful. I feel like I got more than my money's worth. Spent under $12 for a good meal and great service.
My only complaint is they close at 2pm! Really wish they would stay open later, especially on a holiday.
