I had no idea where the heck this was, so thanks Google for telling me where I was! I did a group ride and this was one of our stops. What a neat little place! I grabbed hot coco to warm up. They had friendly staff and a lot of cool things, many looked to be local foods and such. If you are in the area it is a must for a quick stop! Check them out!

New owners are awesome. Friendly to cyclists. Sandwiches and soups are tasty and hot. It makes endless (cycling) training loops on Diamond Valley / Carson River Roads so much more enjoyable!

Sandwich was very good. But was difficult to eat while holding my 11 month old. They do not have high chairs or child seats. Definitely not child friendly. Also cafe in markleeville is more family friendly.

Great little place to stop at. Grab something to drink always one of the best sandwiches around. Nice speciality store. And amazing staff. I wanted to eat on porch. They brought my food out and gave my dog a treat, after asking.

New owners - very nice people, and they really seem to like cyclists. Great deli turkey sandwiches, plus new menu with fancier things like panini. Awesome blackberry muffins, peach pie, and great coffee, too.

I stopped in with 12 friends on a motorcycle ride. Extremely friendly staff, and we kept them very busy for a while. Excellent food. I had a delicious frittata with fresh fruit. It was perfect for the day.

07/23/18: As the owner mentioned, Woodford's Station has changed ownership and we had a very nice experience, welcoming and friendly service. Thanks to the owners for the heads up to update my review! We look forward to visiting again!

Old review:
Extremely rude people...
On being asked for some water from the deli..."Sir, the bathroom is right there...it has the same water I have".
They also apparently hate bicyclists. "You put your bike on the porch. Do you want me to wash it for you"?
[No bike stands of course, on this extremely popular bike route].

Great stop on the way to Markleville or continuing on the way up to Kirkwood, Tahoe or hiway 88. The sandwiches are delicious & generous in the making!! People friendly & a pleasant way to spend a relaxing day

Perfect pesto sandwich. Yummy. Sat up on the upper deck and got up some emails and enjoyed some wonderful wild dog coffee. Met the owner and chat with some customers on their travels...
