Yeems Coffee is what I consider my neighborhood coffee shop, even though it's four miles away, but it's a place that I connect with, it feels personal.

It surprises even myself that I find peace in a strip mall coffee shop. Or maybe, I like it exactly because it's a strip mall coffee shop. Their customers are grandmas and students, blue and white collar workers, of all races and ages. The down-to-earth vibe and unpretentious people don't mean the shop feels generic. On the contrary, the bright and clean space with a splash of lush green is an oasis in a concrete jungle, an escape from the mundane.

My favorite drink at Yeems is their Vienna Coffee: double espresso on double cream, topped with cocoa powder. It's smooth, dark, complex, and indulging. It's truly special because you can't easily find it elsewhere. More often, I go for a straight flat white. Simple, but always skillfully crafted. I'll sip it over a quiet read, or a little chat with the owner James and whoever else behind the bar. For a full breakfast, Yeems also carries pastries and makes fresh and delicious and toasts in their kitchen.

James is humble, authentic, and diligent. You just have to look through his quiet demeanor to see his passion and dedication. Seven days a week, he greets customers as they enter, thanks them as they leave, and makes good coffee in between. There have been a few other staff members over time, Joe, Ted, Erin, everyone is genuine and welcoming.

There are destination coffee shops, and there are neighborhood coffee shops. Yeems is obviously the later, and it's one of the best that I have been to.

I just found it when I was walking around my apartment.
Nice and cozy place with a kind staff.
I've tried most of the beverages and a couple of items from the bakery and those were great.
Basically, I prefer to have a standard-temperature cappuccino and latte which is they are good at it.

Small coffee shop in Ktown! The long line to order depends on a specific time, but moving fast and quick wait to get coffee. There is constant crowd and traffic in and out of the coffee shop since it's famous and has high reviews!
I ordered Vienna Latte (7/10) and the Vienna Matcha (6/10) for flavor and strongness. It was good but not like WOW.
Friendly staff, prices are around $6-8/cup of coffee, and parking can be hard to find in the parking lot during peak time!

The Vienna coffee here is so delicious. Made to perfection. I’m hooked! The staff is excellent and provide exceptional customer service. There is limited seating, so I do not recommend students to come here and study…but if you want to meet friends here as your first stop, I’d highly recommend it. The cold brew is also a solid choice. I haven’t had any bad drinks yet and I’m excited for my future orders!

Got the butter latte and the Vienna latte. The Vienna is the foamy one and the butter is the two toned one. The butter latte is better in my opinion, and the Vienna tasted similar to memory look. It was 6.5 for each. Decadent and creamy slay. My biggest gripe is that the seating is soooo limited

Best local coffee shop I ever had in LA. There is a plenty of coffee shop all around ktown but the coffee taste here is another level. The shop is quite small but there is a seat for study and having a charging place. I love they are not turned the music loudly so it gives me a feeling like a coffee shop not a pub! I heard the fame of butter latte and it’s so creamy and sweet. I highly recommend here for ppl who loves creamy latte. Totally underrated cafe tho

Small space inside so not the best for studying/working but super delicious drinks (we got the Vienna and the Buttercream)! Still pretty aesthetically as for the space and the drinks.

Small, but seemingly popular coffee shop. The interior reminds me of the highly-curated interiors of Korean coffee shops. Cute place to meet up for coffee or stop in for take out. Cold brew latte was on the sweeter side.

I got an Iced Vienna Latte w/ oat milk and it was yummy.

There is a parking lot but when I went, it was pretty much full. It's a shared lot and it's not huge. I just parked on the street and put a few coins in the parking meter. It was easy finding a parking within walking distance.
