Great coffee, really cool employees. I'm two visits in and planning to get back real soon. They roast coffee beans there also, which provides a rich and robust coffee aroma all day. Everything here is great and undeniably the highest quality. Also for purchase are various sizes of ground coffee for at home or office enjoyment. #silverbackcoffee

5 Stars just for being Black owned. 10 stars for the best coffee in the area.

Amazing! The coffee is delicious and rich without being overly acidic, the shop is beautiful and clean, and the story about how this coffee shop came to fruition is wonderful. Highly recommend this small business, will definitely be back for the atmosphere and some beans to go!

Worth your time if you want some coffee, pretty good

I work around the corner and have frequented this establishment often. I also buy my coffee beans here.
They have an excellent mission to support local Rwandan farmers by true patronage of their product, not by patronizing Western values. They also support gorilla population conservation.
So, I hope this location stays afloat. I personally think they should make it more obvious that they have medium and light roasts, since I have seen people complain about them defaulting to their dark roasts for their coffee products.
They also should provide more options for creamer, since many customers can't drink dairy any longer.
I really like the flavor of their beans, especially the medium roast. It's a very balanced coffee—not too fruity, not too acidic.

My first time at Silverback Coffee and I love it! It's a great tasting coffee shop with many options and when you buy from there you help support the sustainability of the Silverback Gorillas.

Swanky place. Got an overpriced espresso and ruined it with the rancid almond milk they had out. Chunks of milk don’t mix well, lol. Cool

All vegan spot. Yay for that! More of a very limited options cafe that has a few snacks. Not a full coffee house. (Who the hell doesn't have chai?!) Not a full breakfast, unless you show up on Sundays I guess. Still, all vegan & happy to support it but probably wouldn't return unless I can get here on a Sunday.
