nothing but coffee

I'm very glad I found this coffee shop tonight. I like to study into the wee hours of the night so it's great that this place closes at 2 a.m.. Furthermore, the coffee is superb and the staff is friendly. This place is a good spot to get some work done or just meet with a friend. 👍🏼🙂

One of the few cafes in Ktown that me and the wife have not experienced. It was a little difficult to find the place since there is heavy construction throughout the block. Also made it equally difficult to find a spot since there is barely any street parking and the only other lot is the Hwa Sun Ji parking where they wont let you park even though its practically empty.

We kind of got scolded from Hwa Sun Ji ownership since we accidentally parked in the lot so this review is mainly so I can rant about Hwa Sun Ji but I'm not so petty to give them a 1-star review for being selfish.

Anyways, at nothing but coffee I had the Charcoal latte, made with activated charcoal which had a delicious, light sweetness to it. Wife had the NBC latte which is like a Spanish latte. Very small, neat coffee shop with very courteous staff even though it seemed understaffed with one guy working the register and also making drinks. Very interesting coffee combinations as well. I'd like to try the London Smog or Honey Truffle next. I think I would name this place the "Doc-u-ment coffee that's open later"

good place to hangout but there is only 3 seats that are good for work/studying.

All of the drinks here are decent. Toffee latte is my favorite of all the drinks.

I am little far from here, but whenever in the area, must get some here. It is good and you want to give it a try.

Stopped by here instead of Starbucks, best decision ever! Had the cold brew and waffle both really good. The waffle was actually amazing !

Amazing coffee! Not only is it delicious but it’s also beautiful. They care about the coffee here. Really delicious! Try their Spanish latte. They call it NBC Latte!!! Delicious!!!! Oooff I love it

One thing I really look for in cafés is the ambience and the quality of the coffees. I generally do NOT prefer cafés where the music is obnoxiously loud to the point you have to shout over to the person you're talking to. This café is perfect to either study in peace or have a conversation with one or a few people. The music is able to be heard, but at the same time, you're able to focus on your studies or hold a good conversation.

I called in beforehand to ask where their parking lot is and the customer service was great. The kind lady who works there explained thoroughly where the lot was and also greeted warmly when I came into the café. I felt very welcomed by the whole vibe of the workers there :)

But what I feel like could improve is their coffee quality. I tried their quad (espresso) shot hot cappuccino with oat milk. In comparison to my favorite coffee shop in LA, the milk didn't seem to be frothy enough and tasted a bit watery.
I always expect to have the strong aroma and taste of the espresso beans (especially with quad shots) when I have the first sip of my cappuccino or latte, but it didn't have that "kick."

In overall, it was a great peaceful experience there and I can find myself coming back to this café to study again.
