Simple and aesthetic interior and some outdoor seating. Drinks weren’t sweet and tasted good, but they were nothing special. It took a longer time than I expected for the drinks to be ready. If I’m in the area, I might stop by and try the more unique drinks and food. Parking is limited but available.

Excellent coffee. The interior is ideal for those who appreciate (because enjoy is certainly not the right word) concrete surfaces. Harsh but not forbidding. Friendly people.

Tried this place on a whim & LOVED the chicken and waffles! Delicious, fluffy ube waffles with freshly fried chicken. I ordered the prosciutto toast as well, but there was too much arugula & barely any prosciutto. I wanted to love it but the chicken and waffles stole my heart. The ambiance is nice & clean! The staff was also very nice. Very limited parking!

A very lovely place for both coffee and brunch ☕️🧇 The artistically designed and sunlit space has been attracting lots of the photo-takers. Meanwhile the food’s no less impressive (so this is not the usual pretty-but-not-tasty trap). The ube waffle could be ranked one of the best I’ve ever had - texture-wise ultra light and crispy, and the flavor of purple yam accompanied by maple syrup was just amazing (plus slicing it to uncover shiny purpleness inside was very pleasant as well). We also enjoyed the mango pesto rice - a great combination of appetizing and tangy mango salsa with satiating rice and sausage.

Nice young vibe inside the cafe. Has a contemporary design and architecture. Coffee and latte taste good. More on the expensive side. Seating arrangement for me is not comfortable inside the cafe. Great that they have outdoor settings.

My husband and I popped in here spontaneously and decided to get a coffee. We love coffee so we are always down to try a new spot. The vibe was cool but a little stark. It seems like a decent hang out spot. We got the laveta drink with the oat milk and espresso. It was decent but the ratio of milk to coffee was a bit off. Maybe that’s because I was expecting more of a cortado? I’m not sure but I do feel that the drink was somewhat subpar at best and the milk washed out the espresso flavor. The staff is def cool but I’ll say $6.50 for a coffee was too much for what it was.

I came here with a friend when they just open so it wasn't busy.
We ordered the matcha latte and matcha misto. Both were so good, probably one of the best matcha I have had in awhile.
There is a nice sitting area outside. The parking lot is a bit tricky since its small and have a steep hill. By the time we were leaving, there were no open table left so it does pick up. Come early if you want a table to get some work done.

I went several times to Laveta during my month in LA - love the design of the place, the friendly service and the very good quality of coffee and food. Only thing I would wish is to have a sweet vegan option at your place.

The service was exceptional. We ran into a lil disappointed with the fried chicken but once brought up yo the server they took care of it with such grace and because of this I will return to try more things on the menu :)
