Civilization Coffee Plus Kitchen

That was some of the worst food I've had. Me and my boyfriend spent$50+ for salmon lox, French toast combo, 2 coffees. The food was reminiscent of Denny's restaurant I actually threw away my salmon lox even though I was very hungry. Something was texturally off with the salmon. It was strangely firm and bumpy? It's hard to translate into words the texture but I spit it out. The bagel was stale and low quality, the tomatoes were not ripe and hard. Plus they had terrible coffee. They gave my boyfriend cold bacon with his meal. My boyfriend said The French toast was alright but under cooked and the eggs he had were done well. I would never recommend this place. If it were cheap, I'd understand the quality I was getting but spending over$50 for food I threw away for being inedible makes this place terrible.

I don't understand the reviews that say this place is good. It's way over priced, dirty, low quality food that they don't fully cook the food or they give you it cold. Unless you're desperate for food don't eat here.

The food tastes great, and the staff is amazing. Love this place it is the only place we repeated during our vacation on LA.

I've come before.... it was... ok and I came for their bacon egg and sautéed spinach bowl with crispy potatoes. I asked for extra crispy potatoes and bacon.
The potatoes were soft like maybe they forgot to prep, the bacon was turkey, ain't no way In hell turkey bacon can be crispy. There was no spinach but arugula..... also got an orange juice that definitely tasted watered down.... 🤫 ok on to the next

I got the French toast combo and it was quite good! I also got the salted caramel cold brew and it was great! Make sure to stay on top of your order though. I was told it’d be brought out but almost 30 minutes later I went inside and they asked what my order was again. It came out within 5 minutes after that (had to do to-go due to the delay) but I get they were slammed by online orders. Overall, I’d recommend them!

The service was execellent and the coffee was very good. That gets five stars! The complaint is specifically about the croissant. It's not a real croissant, it's thick bread shaped and made to look like a croissant and it's terrible. Like sandwich bread, which fine if that is what I was ordering, but I wanted a real flaky croissant and this is not that. Unacceptable please source a better product and offer some options of real pastries and I would be happy to edit my review

Great place! Loved the french toast, nice fresh fruit and very good seasoning. BEST cold brew I've ever had, they make it with salted caramel. Watch out for the lunch rush, they can get swamped with online orders but they're extremely kind if you have any problems.

Was a little hard to find, but it is literally a hole in the wall lol. It's right off the sidewalk in a cut out. It's really cute inside where you order, and the seating is very modern exposed brick, makes it feel like you are right in the heart of the city but also privacy. The man who took our order I believe is also the cook was very understanding with our gaggle of girls trying to figure out what we wanted. The food is wicked good!!! My friend order a side of bacon and got a bowl, it was nice thick cut and crispy but not burnt and very smokey. And their coffee perfect! I got the honey cinnamon latte you can definitely taste the honey. Did I mention how nice they were? So nice can see their smile under their mask 😀

Incredibly good food. My guy had the French toast - a large serving but really light in taste. I had the egg biscuit sandwich. Yummy!! Fluffy light biscuits, eggs cooked to perfection and crispy bacon. Drip coffee delish! And a side of crispy potatoes made for a nice Saturday brunch.
