Bohemian House of Espresso + Chai

Fantastic experience, quality, and service!!! This is my favorite coffee shop in LA!

The service at this coffee shop is amazing! I visited for the first time today. The guy working noticed that I was a little indecisive while looking at the menu, and he gave me a sample of the cardamom date, which was absolutely delicious! I wanted something with caffeine, so he suggested I try the dirty chai, which was also quite tasty. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The best chai you will find in Los Angeles, mixed with cinnamon and cardamon. Not a pre made mix of any of that junk, you can adjust sweetness to your desired preference. Great photos and music. The owner, who goes by Blackie, will make you feel at home.

Blackie, the owner, is extremely generous, personable, and makes a mean cup of joe! While we waited for our drinks, he gave us free a complimentary phone pop sockets and samples of his dates stuffed with almond butter. It was my first time having this treat and I extremely appreciated it!

The decor is gorgeous, quality of products is superb, and fantastic customer service. I'll be coming back. Thank you, Blackie!

“Blackie,” as he calls himself, has managed to conserve the idea of pure coffee with no gimmicks. His coffee grains are rich and his concoctions of all things organic are marvelous for the human body.

He has managed to enrich his shop by including the most fascinating books,decorations, and a personal touch of his own book laying proudly on the coffee tables.

Blackie is a pillar in the Downtown Community and a business owner worthy of everyone’s support. The Hot Late is exquisite, and the avocado toast is delicious. I have no complaints and choose him over any coffee.

Farah is such a gentlemen and great host. The hummus wrap and avocado toast is out of this world delicious! I will return for sure!

The owner was really nice and alltogether the design of the place was very enjoyable and interesting :)) Also the matcha latte was incredible!!

Blacky is a sweetheart and makes the BEST drinks! Since the first time I stepped in, I felt at home. A cozy spot to decompress, have a great coffee or a vegan snack, and take in some culture. Truly a safe space within DTLA.

Such a lovely place, amazing service and wonderful ambience. Makes you feel right at home in such a busy city. Recommend the chai latte and cookies.
