Bixby Joe Coffee & Tea

The food and drinks are always amazing. I typically get the Chai latte which is a little sweet and amazing. Also the sandwiches are amazing and you can pick the type of bread or even bagel!

I enjoyed my chai latte very much. They have a variety of milks including almond, oat and coconut! They have a few gluten free snack options. Their pastries look yummy! The atmosphere is open, airy and comfortable (we sat in the comfy wing chairs in the corner). There is plenty of pleine aire seating as well.

Been here several times - so far have had 2 flat whites, a vanilla lavender milk tea latte, and a plum tea. Liked everything I've had so far. Only caveat was that I didn't realize there wasn't espresso in the milk *tea* latte but that's not on them. I like going here and will go again.

This cafe is a hidden gem. I love the coffee, the atmosphere, the people, everything about it is wonderful. If you randomly drive by or are in the area stop for a drink. Itll be worth it.

Delicious espresso drinks, both "plain" (cappuccino) and sweet (Butterfinger Mocha, Hazelnut Rose latte). There is always a tasty butterscotch undertone to their coffee that I enjoy.

So why only 4 stars? Very slow service and inconsistency in quality. The drinks are different every time, sometimes quite dramatically. They are still always tasty --- it's just that a drink may be noticeably less sweet, or more milky, etc.

The employees are helpful and friendly, but it sometimes takes 25 minutes to place and recieve a to-go coffee order even though there's no line when you walk in. Perhaps they need to hire more folks?

Great, casual coffee shop with a full menu of coffees and a variety of fruits, natural, bagels and other baked treats. Lots of seating inside and out. Their cafe mocha is hands down my favorite I've ever had of any shop around. It's a small thing, but huge: when you ask for a toasted bagel with butter they actually put butter on the bagel for you (not throw a few cold, hard cubes in the bag and expect you to figure out how to spread hard butter, like every other chain shop does). This alone should make BixbyJoe shop of the year! Also, their morning barista loves and studies his craft, and his drinks show it- he's definitely the best in Long Beach.

Love supporting a local place plus they are really good! I have changed other plans just to go here to get their Chai with oat milk. Yummy! The food is good too, with vegan options called out. Try it!

Lovely staff and delish coffee, much better than any of the chains in the area. Can’t wait to try all of their yummy looking sandwiches and pastries!
