Great diner! Awesome biscuits and gravy

Good old time restaurant. Not much food weigh Every thing like 2 oz of meat on open face sandwich. Go somewhere else

Denver omelet good. Rye toast so cold the butter didn't melt. Left it on the table. Too sad. Friend 😄 her biscuits and gravy. Large portions of each. Better value if the food had not got so cold ,..the omelette warmed up nicely on the micro at home.

Awesome diner! Must do on your way to Death Valley. Excellent fried zucchini and stellar party melt.

I went there at one time when my first time was to visit Lake Isabella. I ordered sandwich and fries. I liked it. It is kinda good. The waitresses are so helpful to tell what Lake Isabella have for guests and residents. If you need anything to help out, go to Red Rooster Cafe and eat some foods for thanking to keep us being chilled. Good food from what nature this city offers and discovers. Awesome.

This place is a real testament to a old school diner.
Friendly staff, clean and great food.
Ordered a burger and it was huge, everything tasted fresh and cooked to order. Potato Salad was fresh and tasted amazing.
All in all I have nothing to complain about my experience. I can’t wait to come back again.

Best pancakes in California. Not kidding. They are delicious. Plentiful coffee. Excellent and friendly service. Cozy family-style cafe with big picture windows that look out towards Lake Isabella and the Southern Sierra. When I travel to Bakersfield, I leave early so I can make breakfast at the Red Rooster, and specifically take 178, the long way, instead of 58 through Tehachapi.
