1/28/23: the baguette is good, the sourdough loaf is so so, too dense/doughey in the middle.
We have been wintering in JT for the past 4 years. Stepped in Boo's Organic Oven for the first time this morning: clean environment, friendly service (thanks Eli), nice selection of cookies, pies, hand pies, and bread. The Egg/Meat/Cheese Hand Pie is delicious.

Don't tell people about this place because it is sooo good. There was a line for lunch and it was deserved. Our Pasties had crust that was just the right level of flakiness. And the fillings were delectable.

The best bakery in the Morongo Basin by far! We stopped in and ended up going back to the counter to get more to take home. If these guys served sandwiches on their fantastic bread, they would be the best sandwich shop in town and I would update this review to a 5 star!

I've lived in JT for 5+ years and Boo's came when we sorely needed something better than cafe food. This bakery is amazing and organic and I love everything I've tried on their menu. I have to get their early (which is hard for me) in the morning to get some of their fan favorites that will sell out. But that makes me happy they are doing so well and bake fresh daily bread. During the pandemic lockdowns I bought a large freezer and I stocked up on the savory and sweet pies. The only pie I didn't love which supieses me was the chicken - it's was WAY too spicy hot. But the braised beef was perfect, as was the vegetarian/vegan options. Their spanakotta is divine, muffins, pies and cakes are EXCELLENT - they beat Whole Foods by miles. I always pre-order out familes b-day and holiday cakes and treats. Thank heavens for Boos! In my opinion they are the best in town.

Placed an anniversary cake order in advance to receive poor customer service and a cake that was baked 7 days prior to the event and frozen. We called to clarify how to preserve it, and were told to freeze it again. $34.15 is overpriced, so we hope this problem can be ameliorated with a refund and better customer service. (We have been wanting to support this shop since our elopement last year, but COVID didn’t allow this. I understand we have expectations— which doesn't help the matter— but this feels extremely disappointing!)

Atmosphere was great. Clean & well lit. Staff was kind & attentive. Love the peach scones & cupulent cupcakes.

I was looking for a baguette near closing time. The clerk asked if I was a local and proceeded to take a baguette from a plastic bag of 5 baguettes when I told him I wasn't local. As it turned out that bread was rock hard stale. Had to throw it in the trash. Not the quality you'd expect for the $5. I paid. Wasn't worth $1. Very disappointed.

The most delicious pies and coffee cakes I've had! The customer service is excellent, above 5 star! The food is always so fresh, so satisfying!

Excellent product. I just wish I could get the local discount for the wonderful Dutch Pie that my family consumed tonight. Also the sourdough olive loaf sliced was excellent.
