High rated local cafe. Coffee and food quality are pretty decent. Great way to start the day.

Took my niece and nephew. They're 6 and 4. They were treated as young adults by the staff, and they were on their best behavior. Great food and outstanding latte. Highly recommend the Black Oak.

I really liked the ambience here. It’s busy but seats open up rather quickly. The pastries and breakfast burritos were yummy.

Laura was my “barista” and she was super friendly and even though my order was super complicated and there was a long line she still got me what I wanted and even pronounced my name correctly. Pay her more money!!!

Given the high reviews, was unpleasantly surprised by the bad coffee. We ordered a latte and found it burnt and inedible. The atmosphere in the cafe was still nice, but will unlikely be making a return.

Black Oak is a Ukiah-based local microroaster with global ambitions yo produce world class made in Mendocino County coffee. And they are doing it even as we speak. This Healdsburg outpost is as good as it gets. Full stop. Even the hipster City of San Francisco can’t match their Black Oak cool kids moves. Come here. Before it’s too late.

AMAZING COFFEE!!! The flavor shines through. The space is trendy and perfect for gathering or working. I bought some coffee to take back to Tennessee and I already know I'll be ordering more. Seriously, some of the best coffee I've ever had. I ordered a vanilla latte with almond syrup in store and medium roast with chocolate, caramel and lavender for home. DELISH!! (Note: don't leave without getting an almond cookie.)
