Hill's Coffee Shop

It's a coffee shop we go to on occasions but now they have a new cook. For me, she overcooked my Overeasy Eggs and the honestyle potatoes were undercooked. Normally I like going there. It has reasonable prices and the food is good for what it is, a breakfast only coffee shop. But I'm not returning if they continue to use this cook.

Best Breakfast and Lunch in East Bay. Burgers and fries are Amazing.

Small hole-in-the-wall place. Good food and good price point. Service can be a little slow and the place is a little rundown. But the food quality and price make up for it.

Come early or you'll be in line waiting for a table to open up.

Fresh made home cooking with good coffee and really nice people. Last time I was there was 15 years ago when it was an old style greasy spoon. Hills is nothing like that today. Really glad we went.

Very good food. Prices are very low ( about $2.00 below others. ) i had the breakfast special , 2egg hash browns OJ coffee less than $9.00... And cooked the way i like it.

Food was fine not happy about my card being over charged by 10$ The paper receipt clearly says 40.99$ and some how they managed to charge me 50.99$ . Don’t like places that try to scam you . Because when this was a pending transaction it showed up as the proper amount of 40.99 now I have to call my card company and have it adjusted correctly. This is the reason for my 1 star review

The Waffles were thick in texture, chewy, gummy, thick, they should've been light and airy,fluffy, buttery, have buttermilk flavor taste, because they've buttermilk waffles. They were terrible. There butter didnt melt on my waffle, i dont know what the butter was cut with. Bacon just OK. Orange juice was good.

Good little neighborhood coffee shop. Friendly service as well. I eat there often.

IHOP is always a 45 minute wait on the weekend.... AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!!!! Go down a couple of blocks to Hills and you will not be disappointed in the food. This is an old hole in the wall so don't expect anything nice but the food I certainly cant complain and will be back.
