Baked goods are delicious. They serve sweet treats, coffee, pizza, pasta, and (during dinner hours) dinner. The staff is alert and helpful. They have nice outdoor seating for good weather and a beautiful rustic interior. Prices are reasonable.
We were a mixed vegan/not vegan group and everyone found things to enjoy. After we ordered the plant-based option on the pizza, they pointed out a few of the sweet treats that were also plant based (most are more traditional). Definitely going back!

A cute bakery/cafe on our way to Goat Rock. The owner is from Sweden and makes these wonderful baked goods. I had a scone that was quite delicious. The latte was good. A Breakfast combo of egg and ham on a roll with coffee/tea for $5 was also a great deal. Service was very friendly.

I’m from out of town visiting Armstrong Redwoods state park. After a rainy morning hike, I went to Baked to warm up and to caffinate.

This place has a very cozy atmosphere, tasty baked goods and an amazing smell! Somehow the aroma captures everything good in there: the fresh coffee, the various cakes and scones. But as refined as the tastes and aromas are, the best thing is definitely the staff who are so engaged, friendly and sincere. I immediately felt as if I was a part of the community. While everyone was warm and accommodating, a special ‘thank you‘ to Ashley who made me feel right at home.

I stopped by here and the first thing that struck me was how good it smelled inside! There are oodles of delicious and unique pastries to catch your eye. I got an apple cardamom something that is absolutely scrumptious. I also got a ham, egg, and cheese on a roll and, folks, let me tell you and this roll. Amazing! Crunchy outside, doughy inside, a little sour, and absolutely delicious. And it wasn't just sliced deli ham, it was good quality meat. Everything is made in their in-house kitchen.
I got my food to go but there is also a wonderful seating area to spend time in!

People, you just gotta try this place for yourselves!!

This place is my favorite in that area. It is ran by some of the friendliest people. Everything is homemade and it’s simply delicious. It’s better than your moms cooking. Great atmosphere, beautiful patio, fantastic spot.

Baked on the River is my go to place for fantastic morning breakfast rolls w/ham, egg and cheese. Gluten free/paleo options available. Rolls, bread, cookies, scones! Afternoon back area, social distance!
A European style bakery in Guerneville? Yes! Order ahead, menu online. Locals & tourists alike (I'm a local) A must visit for sure.

I'm super excited that this place is open now! Helena, the owner, is an AMAZING chef! Everything she makes is simply delicious! The pastries and specially blended coffee are FABULOUS! You've got to stop by here when you're in the river area.

Ok, so... If you head down through Russian River you MUST make this one of your stops. It is located on the south west side of River Road just past Guerneville. The owner / chef clearly gets the concept that when in doubt add more butter. She creates low sugar and gluten free options as well in her selection of some of the tastiest, moist, fresh ingredient pastries around. I don't eat meat myself, but this cafe is a charcuterie as well and their meat dishes look super moist and flavorful. You can see how well she knows what she is doing. The staff are SUPER friendly and kind. The prices are totally reasonable. There is plenty of air conditioned space within the cozy cafe and covered seating areas out back and did I mention that they love dogs?

We have been there 4 or 5 times and the pastries are very good but a bit pricey. So we decided to try them for a late, 2pm lunch. They only had one item on the menu and when we asked about it, we got a sarcastic young lady (not the super nice older woman) who proceeded to make this review possible and also make this trip our last visit. She was slow, rude when we asked how our food was doing after 20mins of waiting (soup, salad and swedish meatball sandwich). Then we waited another five or so while the place was mostly empty. When they delivered the food they said they had a big rush of customers that we never saw.

What we all care about is the food too. Putting the rude, arrogant service aside, the salad was ok, the soup was bland and the swedish meatballs we're dry and over cooked...maybe leftovers or frozen. They were not hot either.

For us, we go to our Guerneville place 3 or 4 times per month and this place is not one we'll visit again. The coffee shops downtown have much, much better coffee, great service, and good pastries too.

Lunch is definitely not a good value and our time was not of value to them.
