A delight every single time. If you want to impress out of town guests take them here

Very busy, so plan to wait a bit if you don't arrive early... But that's a good sign . The service was exceptional and very friendly. House made kombucha was a huge hit, as well as the house squeezed orange juice and pressed apple juice. The attention to detail on every item shows.
We ordered the chorizo tacos and one of the daily specials which was a summer harvest breakfast wrap . The food took awhile but it was extremely delicious and worth the wait. We will be coming back here for sure.

Great food. Went for a birthday breakfast and the people there were all great. We had a couple vegan eaters that found dishes very easily.

Their specials are AMAZING. I had perhaps the best eggs benedict with sausage that I have EVER tasted. Also a spocy (??) Mimosa that was amazing. Wasn't terribly expensive but certainly not cheap. Staff was great, food delivery was fast and we weren't excessively bothered during our meal. would recommend to friends!

Best breakfast around, fo-sho! South Pine is a classic Nevada County stand by and has stood the test of time and all that has brought along. Truly a fixture in our community and I was sad to hear of the original location in Nevada City closing... May the coming years usher in overwhelming support and the need for a new location be welcomed by us all!

When we first moved to the area this year we were so excited to try South Pine Cafe because they were one of the few places that had several vegan options on their menu. Sadly we showed up only to find them closed because of Covid which they did not clearly mention anywhere on their website.
We were excited again to see they had reopened so we tried to grab some lunch there today but when we got there I was told they DO NOT do to go orders on the weekends. How is that even a thing during a global pandemic???? Yet another thing I could not find clearly stated anywhere on their website.
I was even more disappointed to find all their staff and customers not wearing masks or practicing social distancing. I am well aware that California opened back up on June 15th but just because you have the option to relax restrictions doesn't necessarily mean you should or that it's really safe yet. We will not be making any attempts to try this place again.

Great food. All home made and fresh. Service was epic. Revolving regularly I always enjoy the different art display. If there were half stars I'd only 1/2 strike it for the floor plan kinda feel tight. All the positive definitely out weighs the floorplan.

Good morning. My husband and I used to eat here all of the time before his passing. I am now ill myself, living away with my daughter so I no longer get to come in. This is a great restaurant to eat breakfast or lunch. The staff is amazing, I miss seeing their happy faces. I sent some magazines to my favorite workers as a way of saying thank you for the wonderful service. I hope to be well enough to be able to visit in the future. Thank you. -Mary

Best place in town!!! Seriously amazing flavors and ingredients. Organic. Vegetarian and vegan options available. The service is always fast and friendly. Try out the juice bar and if you're feeling adventurous try a ginger shot!!

Food was DELICIOUS. Be prepared for quite some wait time though.
