Great owners and coffee. Always willing to make specialty Gibraltar’s for me and they even bought new ping pong balls for my friend and I had to play with outback. Owner is usually present and very friendly.

Great coffee shop! The storefront doesn't do it justice, it is huge with multiple different areas for you to relax or work. I was able to sit outside in the shade and do my school work, with my infant in the stroller.

Amazing coffee, amazing staff and amazing atmosphere!
They nailed what I think a coffee shop should be in every way. You know an establishment is good when you start looking at real estate in the area to see if you can afford to live near by!
I mentioned what a good looking espresso machine they had and how I’m trying to learn more about making good coffee drinks and the owner gave me some of the tools he thought would be helpful!
I’ll gladly support this crew every time I luckily find myself in town! Thanks again, Tim and crew!

The food was delicious. The customer service could do better to improve the atmosphere. At the time of my visit, I noticed one of the employees was not wearing a mask (it was an older gentleman with grey hair) and the young lady who took our order was unkind and had no welcoming customer service skills. Carry out might be ideal if you want to try their food.

Friendly, nice coffee.
And I really like it when I get a response from the owner, thank you.

I appreciate some aspects of this place like cheap coffee. But some girl with long blonde hair with pink streaks is wearing absolutely no mask today and even made my coffee. It’s not exciting considering I know at least 20+ people that either have Covid or have been exposed via someone they live with or even just a friend who has it, just in Santa Barbara (and i know more in other states) … that’s just gross. Plus we’ve had a mask mandate since august and this is not the first time I’ve seen workers at this coffee shop without masks. But right now - are you serious?
Java station is a better coffee shop all around - go there
Also want to add I’m not some hyped up paranoid liberal who I’m sure the owners must hate considering they’re obviously “anti mask.” Nor do I want to leave a review like this or ask them to repour my drink. But this is just seriously nasty and rude. Screw this place.

So we were looking to get a coffee and decided this would be the place to visit. However, upon arriving we saw the sign that said you had to have a mask to go inside. That is due to the health dept requiring every business to mandate it. Since we didn't have a mask we were contemplating on where to go. While deciding, the manager or owner approached us and said he had two new masks if we wanted them. We politely accepted and went inside. We ordered an iced mocha and a vanilla cold brew coffees.
They were perfectly balanced where you could taste the coffee with the flavoring. Neither one was over powered the other. Just right.
And the staff was very friendly and helpful. A great gem in Old Town.

They have decent coffee and a good selection of empanadas. The place has great spacious seating and friendly employees. My only complaint is that my latte had way too much milk added for the espresso.

I'm rarely in OTG but while waiting for my car at Toyota I remembered reading about this coffee shop and recognizing the owner's name as someone I grew up with here in SB. Was blown away by the great service, tasty coffee, and perfectly heated quiche. Super stoked that an OTC just opened up in my neck of the woods across from the Museum of Art!

Love this coffee shop! Coffee is great + the space is LARGE and nicely decorated. I don't anticipate having a problem finding a table here, which I often do at other local coffee shops! They also have a cute outdoor space that has a ping pong table and corn hole. Staff is kind as well. Good luck OT coffee!
