The last time I was there I got a blended mocha and was outside at the tables using my laptop while charging it. I was told by a blond employee that because I am (not a student) I was not allowed to sit there . Yes I am a local resident and yes bought their products on a regular basis and no it was not crowded. hardly anyone there. so yes age discrimination it is a real thing. Im a 60 year old woman and let me tell you that girl made me cry. I hope she gets fired. Someday carma will catch up to her and she will cry. Age, race, sex. Discrimination and profiling are all illegal. And wrong please be aware.

Best Coffee in IV by far!! Their coffee consistently tastes exactly like it should, espresso tastes awesome and milk is always steamed correctly. The people that work here love coffee and know how to make it right!

Caje also probably played a huge part in me being able to graduate because of all the caffeine ;)

I enjoy the coffee. The place has a mural with lots of history. Really nice to sit and stare at it

expensive, but nonetheless amazing and worth every penny! thank you being open during this time, as always friendly staff and great service. been a staple and go-to at my time @ ucsb, will definitely miss it :-(

We've been going to this daily place for 8 years (ok, just for one week every summer). They make great tasting coffee, and the patio is great for people watching!

Relaxing place to get coffee or tea and some food. Also great study place if you like some background noise like I do. Really friendly staff make me feel welcome especially Troy! 10/10

Great ambiente in the heart of Isla Vista. Bowls ànd bagels are delicious. Coffee is ok, but too bitter (french roast) for my taste.

Great little spot! Friendly cashiers, good coffee and teas, good food, and minimal wait times. They also have a ton of seating inside and out.
