I've been putting off trying out Philz, just because of the parking. I'm so glad I was able to finally try this place out! There was a little line, but it moved fairly quickly. We mentioned it was our first time there and our barista made a few suggestions. I cannot remember the name, but my drink was delicious. We also wanted to try a plain coffee, because, well, we are at a coffee place, and if they brew a good cup of joe, chances are all their other fancy drinks are probably tasty as well. Our gal made sure to let us know to mention it was our first time there with the cashier. We were given baklava, which was pretty tasty as well. I will definitely be coming back.

I didn't know about Philz until a few months ago... Tried their most famous mint mojito and loved it... Also tried Tesora and it was pretty good. Came back on July 5 and tried their iced "hot" chocolate and it's the best yet I have tasted. I was just sad because they didn't have the bran muffins and oatmeal cookie when I came... I hope they serve it until night time...

The coffee was good but there was way too much mint in the mint mojito coffee and the sweet tea. Overall great atmosphere and clean patio.

I rarely rate places I go too , but this got me really upset it’s nothing against the place it’s about the customer service.I got helped by this white girl with green hair and glasses (I didn’t see her name tag if not I would’ve wrote it down). It was my first time coming to Philz coffee a really nice place but the attitude I got from this lady was horrible , I was asking her which coffee she recommended similar to one I tend to get in other coffee shops. She will say wherever we have up there , regardless that I was asking for opinion because she’s the one that works their and she will just turn and laugh .The point is I came in with my family my husband and 2 Kids , And my son ask her with the name of the coffee she handed to this customer was , she completely ignored him. The customer looked back and told my son the name of the coffee. I won’t be going back to this place just because of the bad customer service. Employees should be more kind and humble because they were giving us nothing for free. I strongly believer that because your having a bad day your going to reflect that on your job or simply just a rude person. I think the company should take it more into consideration when hiring a person not only being a great barista but also your the face of the store so that means bringing in a good welcoming attitude to new customers and your current ones .

This place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a coffee shop. I'm from the area and I've been here 3 times and every time I order, they fill up the coffee up to the brim making it impossible to put a lid without spilling it. The barista has told me, "We always fill it up to the max, so you should have ordered a small coffee in a medium cup." The other barista agreed. As if that's that most natural way to order coffee. Well, why don't you fill it up just enough so there's room to actually put a lid on?? Has anyone thought of that? And if you're a barista trying to act cool like you're the only one who knows about coffee, you're still just a barista behind a counter serving customers. Service is key. Coffee is good but not great enough to let the poor customer service fly.

I haven't been to a Philz yet that disappointed me.

Quickly became a morning ritual during our visit to Los Angeles. Love the vibe and the coffee was awesome! My personal favorite is the mint mojito coffee. When we are in town, Philz is where we will start our day!

Philz is a chain of coffee shops specializing in pour overs, so don't go in there to order a latte. They have a selection of Non-dairy options that they do not charge extra for (THANK YOU!). I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the food/drinks, interior, or staff that is anything but praise.
The location, however, is a bit of a logistical nightmare. There are 70 parking spaces there for all of the very popular businesses in that location. There is an extremely popular donut shop next door as well as a couple restaurants that share the same lot, meaning it is impossible to find a spot. There's no street parking, just huge structures, some of which are not for public use.

A lot of choices, you will have to go several times to find the one you like. We had Tersora blend it was okay to me but bitter to my wife. Service was great. You just have to find your own bury treasure.
