Best Coffee in Crescent City. Hands Down. I'm visiting from Houston and I make it a point to try all the local coffee shops in an area and this one was SO GOOD. I came literally 4x this week. My routine was grab a coffee here, then go exploring. Being from down south J never tried Dutch Bros, but honestly they're a joke compared to how delicious this was! The Raspberry and Macadamia nut was my fave. They have so many different flavors you can make your own concoction! The banana bread one was delicious as well. If the line is long, don't worry! They're also super fast. Keep being amazing Java Hut!
I don't live in Crescent City anymore. Was there the beginning of January and Java Hut coffee was amazing. Have always liked Java Hut. They never disappoint!
The owner is an absolute sweet heart. When they c me they no my drink and have it ready when I get to the window. If I'm feeling like a coffee this is the only place I go for one.
Amazing… like absolutely amazing service & coffee! It also made me happy to see that more people were going to Java instead of the “Bucks’ across the road!! Well done Java Staff!!
Don’t be puzzled about the wood hut at the edge of the parking lot. The coffee is good. They seemed to be very knowledgeable about coffee preparation and had the appropriate accoutrements to top and include in their espresso drinks. They had almond milk. Yay!
The haystacker was tasty, yet a tad sugary so I added two shots to a 20oz. The fact that they are diagonally situated across the road from Starbucks and had a nonstop customer line-up displays a very present effort to provide a viable alternative from a tiny local coffee company in the face of Starbucks’ global market dominance.
I am a Medford, Oregon native, therefore love that they are using Melellos coffee from our home town. We walked up to the window because the line was continuously long for cars and we had no idea what we wanted to order yet.
The staff was more than friendly. We only wish we could use the lobby which appears to be shut down, perhaps due to Covid.
The price was equal to Starbucks - so perhaps that was the one thing I wasn’t super excited about since I understand Starbucks gives huge benefits, such as insurance and college support to their staff.
I can only guess that they are more than profitable which is awesome for a tiny town competition with a huge company such as the Bucks.
I can see myself returning to this location yet choosing to modify the drink choice by reducing the sugar load, but that is specifically I own preference.
This is a cute, quaint coffee drive through location. I applaud the ownership for posing such a threat to the coffee giant across the street.
If you're in Crescent City and love coffee, go here. Pass the sketchy Star Bucks and the all to common Dutch Bros you can get just about anywhere. This place is amazing. Quality is fantastic, the flavors are great, and the sugar free options are wonderful. The staff is all super friendly. This is the only place we will go for coffee here.
