Cafe Coda is so trendy and hipster. Great coffee, great service. Their flavor profiles are phemominal and they offer healthy, real food, even vegan options! My only less positive comment would be that sometimes the food is not piping hot. But they will happily fix that for you.

Hands down, best breakfast place in town! I've been to Mom's, Nash's, just about everywhere, and this place blows them all out of the water! Try the Athens or the Fat Boy for an amazingly delicious breakfast or brunch! There coffee is amazing too!

I've had mediocre experiences every time I've come here. The first time, the food was not hot and barely even warm when it came to us (which also took a very long time). The next time I went with friends and some family. During this trip, my fiancee's coffee was forgotten three times and the waitress was absent for the majority of our meal. I never was offered a water. Also, I ordered the veggie hash and it was literally just potatoes, onions, and an overcooked egg. I would go to Mom's, Sin of Cortez, or Morning Thunder any day over Cafe Coda.

Good was great. Atmosphere was really nice but the service was slow... It's a small place, so I expect the food to be a little show in coming out but I had to ask for water twice, the waitress checked on us once and we had to go up and ask for our check. Sad that I couldn't give this lovely place more stars!

The breakfast are very hearty. Vegan options are available. Service is quick and pleasant. This is not your usual brunch place. They serve alcohol and are bigger inside than might appear from outside.

Best poached eggs in town... perfection nearly every single time. They make their own almond milk and their Maple Lattes with almond milk are the most exquisite way to inject caffeine into my system I've experienced in NorCal. I get the Eggs Blackstone and NEVER regret it. There's a long wait sometimes, and the atmosphere is a little loud... but when a small place is packed due to being downright awesome, those are 2 forgivable side effects. I like a big meal and find myself perfectly full, so I'm not sure what that other reviewer is talking about when they say the servings are small. Service is definitely a little lacking, not horrible, just has room for improvement... it's such a small complaint for me personally, that I wish there was a 6th star I could give in the rating system. Now, if only they'd change their hours to 24/7, lol.

Dude. No better place to get Eggs Benedict after noon. Or at all, for that matter. I can't say how well this place hit the spot. The price is a little up there, but as soon as my coffee was brought to me in a French Press, I totally forgot about that. If you're looking for good Chico eats, this is a definite must-hit spot.

We were told 10 to 15 minute wait. We waited 45 minutes. However the breakfast burrito and coffee was great. The waitress was excellent. You need to go there but expect to wait longer than they say.🙂

Honestly, the food is great. But, 3 of us had an empty water glass our whole meal. And no one checked on us the entire time we were there. I would have had to get up and walk all the way across the restaurant to ask them for a refill.

They've reduced their menu recently, but it's all killer no filler, I haven't had something yet that I didn't like. I recommend the Benedicts, Tofu Bowl, and BLTA. The coffee is great too!
