Don & Sweet Sue's Cafe

The food was really good and there were lots of choices. Our food came quickly despite the volume of patrons. Our waitress was great and we never saw the bottoms of our coffee cups. I will definitely go there again and would recommend it as a breakfast choice to family, friends, and strangers too. I wanted to give it 4 1/2 stars but don't know how to do that. It wasn't quite a full 5 stars but more than a mere 4 stars. I know they offer lunch and dinner meals but I have not yet had the opportunity to have either of those meals here, yet. When I do, I will certainly report back about my experience(s).

I ordered the veggie omelette, which was quite good. My sister ordered the Florintine Benedect, which had the worst tasting frozen spinach. It was like grade z frozen spinach. It ruined the whole experience for her. Doubtful if we return.

Food wise, it is exactly what you would expect from your typical Mom and Pop cafe ...BUT there customer service and super friendly staff are bar none, THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I'll be coming back just cause of the staff

The food here was so bland! If you like tasteless food go here. I don't think they know what seasoned food is.
I ordered a veggie burger that they make themselves if the waitress would have said that I would not have ordered it. It came burned and really thick with no taste. The fries had no salt and cold. For close to fifteen bucks it should have been amazing.
They had so many employees standing around talking and giving each other massages and using their smart phones that they just had no time to fill my water glass.
No wonder if you order a drink here other than water it comes huge so they never have to ask it you want a refill.
Why don't they open up a massage parlor the review maybe better.
One, more thing if you own this building you should really replace the ceiling its disgustingly dirty if you don't own it call the landlord.

Good food and friendly host. Only problem is the host won't sit you down until all parties are at thr location even if your group are still parking. Also, the keep sitting a group of two in a table of 4 when there's a line outside yhat are a group of 4. So, yeah we had to wait. So stupid.

Everytime we come into town, this is our "go to" breakfast spot. Some of the best food in Palm Springs! Get there early, by 8am or be prepared to wait a bit😁

First visit here. Ordered a breakfast offering at lunch time that was outstanding. I'll go back and try some lunch items. It was crowded but the staff managed it well.
