Locally owned and operated. Good service. Friendly staff. They also have good breakfast choices and all the fancy coffee drinks. Great regular brews too. I recommend this place over the "BIG" coffee houses. Support your local businesses!!!

Being that it is my first time here, I am happily impressed. I was greeted with a very warm smile, yummy croissant and delicious caramel macchiato. Been hanging out here for 20 minutes and it is very comfortable and warm. I will definitely be back.

Friendly meeting locale, just off 580, easy off, easy on. Due to COVID, restrictive use of seating area and restroom. Take care of the personal before going there.

Ordered a couple of regular coffees politely, then asked for a restroom and the older man working there replied “no.” I walked towards the back and found out that there was a restroom and attempted to open it but it was locked. A gentleman sitting down on his laptop said I needed a key to open it so I asked the older man and said, “it’s out of order.” I then asked him why he said that there wasn’t a restroom in the beginning. He just kept shaking his head and said “the restroom is out of order” without an apology or explanation as to why he told me they don’t have a restroom. It was obvious he didn’t want me to use the restroom from the beginning. First time in the vicinity and will never go back here again. Very shady and bad vibe.

Excellent place to visit while in the CastriValley area. Convenient to the Castro Valley Inn. Greeted warmly each and every morning. Always remembers how u liked your coffee. A must visit Bodi's Java!!!
