Baba Coffee - Coffee Carlsbad

Great little cafe in Carlsbad. We got takeout salads and sandwiches to bring to Carruth Cellars right next door, and the server even hand delivered our food to the winery. They had a nice menu with salads and sandwiches, including lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. Coffee was also delicious. They also had a nice selection of craft beers and wine to enjoy.

Liked the coffee and pie. They also carry pastries, cookies, tea and beer. Nice ambience and they also have some outdoor seating.

Good cold brew and ambiance. But I was shocked when the barista rung in my medium cold brew and it was $7.25, then add tip and my order was pushing $9 for a single beverage. I understand inflation and everything but that is just ridiculous. I think I’ll stick with Lofty across the street, they have much more reasonable prices.

This place has nice ambiance. It has several garage - type doors open, which allows you to enjoy the breeze while inside. The pie and coffee are good.

This place is excellent! A little off of the main street, but totally worth the extra block of walking to find this gem. Everything on their menu is carefully chosen from local suppliers, so by coming in here you are truly getting the best of the best in the area. The staff is friendly and willing to make recommendations and personalize things because it’s all fresh! Definitely check these guys out! They are killing it!

Great location right downtown Carlsbad with indoor outdoor seating. Coffee is fine, pastry selection was nonexistent but maybe I just caught them at a bad time.

Went to Baba on Mother’s Day before a padres game. We let them know we had to get on the coaster in 10min, they quickly made our drinks and we made it just in time. Also, my moms drink was FREE. Great service and delicious coffee! Will definitely be going back.

Cute place, good for getting some school work done. For some reason tho the coffee just doesn’t hit for me. I know it’s high quality, but idk the flavor isn’t quite right. Expensive. Nice employees, usually. Open early.
