They have a good selection of necessary items for forgetful folks, local beers on tap, burgers & summer music out back. Friendly people!

Home away from home!! Been going to this store since the seventies as we've had a cabin in that vicinity since then!! Glad they are able to stay open for business and will always patronize it!!

Stopped in to warm up after playing in the snow. $3 for a self-serve kuerig cup of coffee seems a little steep. Just sayin....
*Edit- After my review was posted, the owner left a response that I was making false allegations about the price of coffee. I really do have better things to do with my time than go online and make false claims about a $3 cup of coffee. I ordered a hot cocoa and 2 coffees and was charged somewhere around $9.70.
So, to the owner who responded, I guess I'm sorry that I was overcharged.

Love the place. We have a place in nearby Snowshoe Springs (Dorrington) and visit the General Store often. Tommy and Donna are terrific and have built a loyal following as well as extending their generous, welcoming spirit to all visitors, wherever their home city, state, or country. They keep the place stocked with essentials, plus a few locally crafted goods. A sign in the door window says, "Free WiFi (but please buy something to keep Donna happy.)" Fair enough... and good advice!

This store has the basic needs, some worthy local merchandise & a fuel station. When renting a cabin at Camp Connell this is the best place to go.

It's a friendly, interesting store. Has a gas station too - so handy! They have some fresh vegetables too, which is nice for making a good dinner.

We LOVE Tommy and Donna at the Camp Connell Store. They are true gems of the Sierras. We are lucky to have a place in Big Trees Village and rely on the Camp Connell Store for all of the necessities when enjoying the mountains year round!
Cute country grocery store stocks all the basics, plus a nice gift shop, wi-fi, and a bar with local (Snowshoe) beer on tap.
Also, Tommy's Backyard is a sweet little spot for burgers in the summer, and a fun concert series. The owners Donna and Tommy are super friendly, and always charming. Cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is.

Went to a folk band concert in the Beer Garden. Beautiful mountain setting, complete with babbling stream running through the grounds. Great natural acoustics!
