Amazing vanilla oat milk latte. Pricey but so tasty. Like that they offer dairy-free options, they had almond, soy and oat milk. Really bummed that the pastry case was completely empty. Especially after seeing all the great pictures in other reviews. No breakfast for us on our beach day. Coffee got us through though and we found scones down the road at another shop.

The pastry. Outstanding chocolate croissant. Ginger/cardamom/pear scone. Limited selection made fresh daily. The pastry. Oh, yes, the coffee is also excellent. Hidden away behind the Bodega Bay Inn, it's worth the visit. And the pastry may vanish quickly.
+ Art & etc on the walls and shelves.

A hidden away gem, in a hidden away location, but definitely worth the efforts to get here. The owner reminded me of Santa Claus (really), what a cute place. Just be patient since he was by himself, but efficient. Loved his cappuccino and the almond croissants which we were told was made by his daughter, including the almond paste. It was so good, we bought two more to go.

Small cafe a short distance off the main street through town. I first stopped in years back biking down the coast. Visited again camping in the area in the summer of 2020 with family and it was as if nothing had changed.
Legit espresso drinks from people who know what they are doing if you appreciate such things. Try the Cubano if you want something a bit different. The pastries are excellent too. I still remember the berry scone I got on my cycle trip.

Delightful. Coffee + Blueberry coffee cake amazing- loved the hint of almond in the cake.

Roadhouse Coffee. I am so thankful that I found you while visiting Bodega. The quaintest, most adorable and delicious breakfast quiche and coffee. They source from Petaluma Coffee and Tea. Dad & daughter coffee shop! So good. I suggest visiting.

Ordered vegetarian quiche. The older male server insisted it did not have bacon because he says he has one row that's vegetarian and one row that's bacon but I could clearly see bacon in it. When I ordered decaf coffee he told me if he made decaf it would sit around all day. Nowhere to sit down because there was a circle of tables and chairs with one older man at each table and they complained about everything in life including where to get free showers and how every town has a terrible smell to it. I think they meet regularly there because it's a nice free warm place to be early in the morning. This stop definitely was not uplifting to start my day.

I cannot describe to you in words how much I love Roadhouse Coffee. First is the atmosphere. There's books, instruments, stickers, and art strewn about that gives the building a very homey feel. It'll make you want to sit and enjoy it forever. Jim and his family make the best coffee you'll have in coastal California- Hell, maybe the best in America. And the pastries... Oh don't even get me started. My favorite is the blueberry coffee cake. TLDR: Visit if you get the chance. Very yummy.

Up early, quick, quiet and amazing coffee cake. We beat most of the pastries, but the fine gentleman and his beautiful granddaughter set us up nicely.
Perfect spot next to the Bodega Bay Inn.
