They have an amazing selection of beans roasted on site, and their pastries are made in house too! Mike was super helpful walking me through the different varieties they have, check them out, you'll find a roast you love!

Easy and fast service. Their caramella (caramel+vanilla) iced latte was delicious. The Hawaiian mocha... not so much, but that's a personal preference. A close drive off the 99 so will definitely be stopping by here more often to/from Bakersfield!

Went in for a light roast cup of coffee around 6:30ishAM on Friday. Was told they didn't have any brewed, but he had a medium roast. No offer to brew a light roast and no offer for pour over, as mentioned by management below. Figured I would buy their smallest bag of light roast Ethiopian beans and brew at home. The night before the website said it sold for $16 a bag. Guy at shop said smallest bag was $21. Waste of my time so I left. Location is off the beaten path and is located on Ashe, not far from Schirra corner. Address says Schirra which is slightly misleading.

My friend and I both got the Dirty Hippie (chai with espresso) with oat milk.
I appreciated that the man taking our order let us know the chai has a small amount of dairy since we both got oat milk. The chai was delicious, not too sweet, and creamy. I got mine iced and they use the best small, crunchy ice - not the big cubes.
I’d definitely get it again!

Will definitely go back here! I love the House Mocha with oat milk. The owners and staff are so friendly and accomodating too!

Amazing service, delicious quiche, and a great environment to stop and get some work done while on the road.

Quality of the coffee is tip-top, food selections are great quality--try the pumpkin spice loaf, YUM!-- and there's a bunch of room chat with a friend, study, or read. Low key chill vibe--available everyday. A+

Bakersfield Roasting is new and I'm so glad it's on my side of town. The coffee drinks are excellent! I ordered a iced vanilla coffee that was so delicious because they roast their own coffee. Starbucks who?? No comparison. I also tried their scones and they are soft, buttery and simply delicious. Highly recommend

I've been waiting for a decent coffee spot on this side of town for a while.

Don't take their name literally.
I went in to have a look at their selection of roasted beans. Literally none of the bags had the variety, origin, production method, and worst of all; NO ROAST DATE. They only have the most generic of information like roast level and some have the country, that's it.
