My family stopped by when driving through Bakersfield. The Cuban coffees were all very good. We enjoyed the empanada pastries immensely. Adventure Awaits is an artisanal experience. Will definitely stop by again.

I love Cuban coffee, and when I found out about this place I was anxious to give it a try. Located on 19th street just west of Q street, it’s in the heart of Bakersfield’s downtown resurgence.
The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was classy but not pretentious. And the coffee. Wow.
I highly recommend.
