The best bakery in SLO county by far. Their multigrain loaf is outstanding. Friends visit from the large cities and always ask where I bought the bread that I serve and rave about the quality. I have been a customer for over a decade.

Great food. Had a Turkey sandwich. The bread was very fresh as were all of the ingredients. Shaded alfresco seating and prompt, friendly service.

Slightly above average but pretty pricey. Unpleasant customer service.
We came in a little after 9 am.The man who served us seemed to be not in a good mood and annoyed by our presence. Paid 18 bucks for 2 pastries and a small piece of quiche. Waited almost 30 mins for the warmed piece of quiche and had to remind the same rude server about the food that had still not been delivered. They were not busy (he was still setting up the shop for opening), yet he forgot about our food. He wasn't very apologetic, which does not encourage me to come back.

Went there for the first time today looking for fresh baked bread. I chose the Olive and Thyme sourdough and was absolutely amazed at the texture and flavor when I got home. Wonderful and will be back to try their other breads!

Ok sandwich, I got the veggie delight on a ciabbata with the coleslaw which was seasoned with cumin! Lovely. My companion had the Cuban, still on his quest to find the best one. He gave it a medium. This place has a nice atmosphere for being in a tiny strip mall. The service is excellent.

The worst customer service ever! I called to find out if they had any croissants on hand for dinner party. Very rude man answer the phone in a short frustrated tone and asked me if I could hold. I said I would be happy to hold. Waited a couple seconds and the line went dead he cut me off. I called back the same very rude frustrated man answered with a sharp tone of hold on I told you to hold on I explained to him that he had cut me off and that I would be happy to hold. Then a very rude and frustrated woman answer the phone I proceeded to Let her know I was having a dinner party and wanted to know if they had any croissants on hand. Her response was we are not taking orders! I let her know that she was rude and had the worst customer service ever. I called back porch bakery the nicest people were very accommodating and actually let me order croissants so that they would be fresh for my dinner party. If you want very good croissants and a friendly staff I suggest going to back porch bakery

I always stop here during my road trips. The food is excellent (Cobb salad a favorite of mine). Bread as as good as any I’ve ever had. And I always take a slice of quiche to go (the crust is scrumptious!)

We are locals and this is one of our favorite places to eat. Best chicken caesar salad in the Central Coast area, and my husband is addicted to their hot pastrami. We always get their huge delicious ciabatta rolls for our holiday meals, and I have even bought them for all the staff in our store...creating new addicts!! I can also recommend their buttermilk pie. They are just fabulous bakers, and great service tood.

I love this place and so does my wife. It is a hidden gem in Atascadero. The tuna melt is awesome and our favorite. Thanks, Morgan! Your family has a wonderful business.

A really great bakery. Wonderful baked goods and a good place to grab a very nice lunch that's a cut above the usual coffee shop or fast food fare. Think quiches, croissant sandwiches and homemade soups. Get there early to get a good seat.
