One of the only coffee shops in the river valley that serve real artifical coffee! And of course I love all the books!! 😍😍 fantastically quaint, a must see!

One of the best coffee shops I have had the privilege of patroning. My only criticism, if there is one to find, is that I could not find a book I was looking for...but this is okay because they probably did not have it. I know it is probably impossible to have a database but that would be nice to have.

The coffee is so much better than the local "chain" coffee. You'll wait a few minutes on your coffee but this gives you time to get lost in this amazing book store. We never leave without a new treasure.

This place is AMAZING. It's a gorgeous, quirky used bookshop, well organized, great coffee, lots of undiscovered treasures in the large basement level. Woman-owned business, too.
They offer a deal where the more books you buy, the cheaper they get! So, you can get books for $5 per hardback -- but if you buy five, the price drops to $4 each so it becomes 5 for $20. There's a similar deal for paperbacks too.
Historic building, and recently redecorated inside to have rooms themed around locations from fantasy novels, such as Harry Potter's Diagon-Alley.
They do a lot to support local authors, and sometimes have live acoustic music in their small sidewalk cafe area.
Plus, they're right across from the historic, still-in-use passenger train station that runs up to Northwest Arkansas using vintage passenger cars!
Nearby in walking distance are lots of good locsl restaurants, flea markets, antique shops, and gift shops.

Chapters on Main is a wonderful store in Van Buren! With it being such a short drive from Fort Smith it is no doubt worth it to get the best coffee around plus more books than you can imagine.

Quaint. Well laid out in a vintage setting with a huge choice of books - new and used. Comfortable coffeeshop and good wifi. A nice quiet place to browse while sipping a chai.
