Friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere. Good if you want to have lunch with friends. Perfect place to read and drink coffee, especially upstairs where there's a small library on the wall filled with amazing books of all varieties.

We have been having lunch and sipping on coffee at the Iron Horse for nearly 20-years. The food and coffee are always excellent and this is our go-to place to visit with someone or to just have a casual but enjoyable lunch. When you visit take time to look at the decorations to appreciate the owner's sense of humor. While always good, the place is getting better with age.

Easily 4 stars based upon service, atmosphere and food. Earns a fifth star for being a great place to work. Even when busy, there’s room and solid Wi-Fi to be fully productive whether on meetings or working head-down. Can recommend the Numen IV.

Iron Horse is a staple of downtown Rogers. Great atmosphere and delicious food. The double chocolate muffin is my favorite muffin in the whole world! Hands down the best pastries and bagels of any coffee shop in the area. Our office frequently orders sandwiches for lunch. They are always prompt with orders and we've never been disappointed. The Numan and Lady J are my favorites, but our office has tried many others and been pleased. Love Iron Horse so much. It's always a recommendation to guests from out of town.

Very neat coffee shop with a great location just by the Rogers downtown. Had their sandwiches many times, always tasty and made fresh to order.
Then, there's one barista, she's quite a jewel.

spectacular coffee with a wide variety of flavors and bold taste absolutely love the atmosphere and the service was fantastic! But highly recommend this place to anyone who is a coffee connoisseur or just in Joy's free time at a place with a friendly and cozy atmosphere great for getting on your computer and knocking out some school work.

Not customer friendly. Called in an order for fast retrieval. Lunch was on crunch time this day. Got to the store to pickup my call in order and there were 4 people in line at the cash register. I asked the girl at the register if they had a line so I could pay and retrieve my call in order. The answer? ( nope you have to wait in line). So 10 minutes later got my sandwich and left. Not a happy customer. Slow and unproffessional in my opinion. Good food but plan on a wait and don't go if you are on lunch hour from work.

Best atmosphere of all the coffee shops in the area. Very laid back and quirky. Coffee is good, but not as "hardcore" as Onyx and Arsaga's. The sandwiches are amazing; much better than you'd expect from a deli-style sandwich. Portions are huge, and ingredients are high-quality, so don't be put off by a $7 price for a sandwich. It's easier to hang out for a long time at Iron Horse, as they have a larger menu than any other coffee shop, and have actual meals, not just snacks and pastries. Plenty of different seating options for individuals or large groups. Easy access to power outlets, and decent wifi, so it's easy to "camp out" and get some work done here. Customer service is always good, and the food/drink quality is consistent. The staff tend to have a "cool bartender" vibe, and less of the "teenager at a summer job" attitude. Only negative I can think of is the flood of kids from the nearby art school and private school during the 3-5PM block on school days. Otherwise plenty of seating, and the usual customers are a laid back bunch. Lots of board games, and a surprisingly well-curated book selection on-premises. If you're looking to make new friends and find out what's going on in town, Iron Horse is a hip and popular place, and the usual customers are less of the "college youth group" vibe you get from Onyx or Kennedy; it's more of a place where you'd strike up a conversation with a stranger about obscure vinyl, bleeding-edge technology, or local subcultures and scenes.

This is my local coffee shop of choice. The coffee is great, and they have a nice tea selection too. The food menu is on the simpler side, but what they do offer is enjoyable. The staff is friendly and I highly recommend checking it out. The atmosphere certainly beats Starbucks.
