Anchor Pointe Resort & Restaurant

We loved staying at Anchor Pointe, formerly Wagon Wheel. The owner, Craig LaPointe, was so helpful with local information. They are currently updating all the cabins and facilities. We can't wait to come back and visit. You can't beat the views and the hospitality!

The food was fantastic. Staff was wonderful, Reasonably priced. Will definitely go again someday.

Very good food at restaurant. Phil’s Favorite might be the best burger in the WORLD. Service is good. Cabins are clean, spacious and the view is BIG TIME. Would definitely recommend. This area of the lake is very good Bass Fishing.

Hospitality is above and beyond any resort I have visited! New owners are friendly and working hard for this year's opening! I visited early, Love it! Wifi here too!

We were on a road trip. After lunch & shopping at a few stores, we departed Harrison Arkansas to travel to Theodosia Missouri. We took the route that includes crossing the river on the Ferry. When almost to the Ferry, we took a side trip to see a favorite campground & enjoy some hand dipped icecream. It was a treat to sit at a table & enjoy the view of the lake & marina. We took a quick tour of the camp sites. The high water level from recent heavy rain made access to some of the favorite sites impossible. Will plan to visit again when the season dries out. We really enjoyed the visit, then an enjoyable trip across the river where we visited another favorite campground. Our road trip ended upon arrival at Theodosia Missouri for a memorable day of relaxation.

Don't waste your money at the restaurant, bad service and way over priced. Employees too busy outside smoking and on their phones. Can't speak for the resort .

We are long time visitors to the Wagon Wheel. Cabins are very clean and the owners accommodate any need you may have. Cafe food is reasonable priced and tastes good. Breakfast is outstanding.

The food was good, atmosphere was as what to expect at a campground. Friendly staff. I had a burger it was delich. Fyi bring cash with you for payment. They accept major card but the response and processing time is very very very slow.

Food was wonderful. The staff were so friendly. Beautiful view.
