It was busy when we entered, always a good sign. Breakfast was delicious, and it has a cozy atmosphere. It's very much home cooking. The service was very good, that waitress was so good at multitasking.

Excellent breakfast at a great price. People were very friendly.

There are tables where the air conditioning blows directly on you. It was freezing!! We finally broke down and asked to be moved after about 30 minutes. We kept waiting for our food to come out but 3 groups of customers who came in well after us received theirs before us. Our waitress that we started with was good. However the other wait staff, including the ones who took over when we moved, seemed to be lacking any motivation. After our food was brought to us, noone ever came back to check on the food or our drinks. The hubby and I both ordered omelets. My first couple of bites had an odd texture but I assumed it was the melted cheese. I finally opened it up to check it out and it was not done. The off texture was uncooked egg. The hubby said his didn't seem quite done either. He opened his and it was not cooked all of the way either. It took about 45 minutes for us to get our food and it wasn't even completely cooked.
I can understand a waitress having an off day or the cook making a mistake but with the bad waitstaff, undercooked food, and the super long wait time, I will not try it again.

Great food with small town friendliness

We were just passing through and a friend recommended. Big bullseye! If we lived in the area we would visit frequently. It just feels comfortable and the food was outstanding. Thank You

WOW !! I have had many Rueben sandwiches over the years but this is by far the very best, I would drive the two hours just to have it again. It was hot and very fresh, the tater tots were delicious too. My spouse got the steak sandwich with fries and it was very good too. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere homey and the food delicious. Just a little info though, their hours are now from 7-2 and they take CASH ONLY so be prepared for that. Also the restrooms are clean but are located down a small hallway through a side part of the kitchen, no problems with that just a 'heads up'. If you're ever visiting Mena, Arkansas make sure this is one of your stops.

Long time local place. No frills and hard working staff. Our hamburgers were good.

Just slow service, food ok,needed more help, we had a big group they were not prepared for that many.

What a find!!! The food and the service were outstanding. This place was non-stop busy but worth the wait.
Note: Make sure to bring cash, no cards excepted.
Will for sure eat there again when We pass through.

This is my new favorite breakfast place.
