Blue Cake Honey Pies at Bowman

Got my grandma’s 93rd birthday sweets here, she loved them!!! She ate a whole chocolate pie 😀

I love everything about BLue cake company, starting from the friendly staff to the amazing cake and cupcakes.
I was so happy that I made my duaghter's birthday cake at bluecake company.

Custom cake came out great, was a big hit and very dense yet still moist and cakey. Was able to do buttercream for it (Toddlers don't wanna eat fondant lol) and it didn't melt in the car during the long drive to grandma's house - success!

On short notice they whipped up the most amazing cupcakes for my 5 year old son's birthday. Very unique and the quality of the cupcakes were amazing.

Wanted something sweet this afternoon. So many yummy choices! I got the mini coconut cream pie and a raspberry pettifor. Both were very good. Loved the buttery pie crust and the filling was perfect not overly sweet. Definitely will have to stop by to try the others.

The people here are super sweet, and the flavors are unique. I like the macarons and the petit fours. The southern caramel is my favorite; it has a bit of salt, making it even sweeter. Both locations are beautiful as well.

I love their desserts. Plus they are always accommodating and consistent. I have been ordering from this Co. since 2010 and I definitely recommend you try them too. You won’t be disappointed.

Very nice and friendly staff. If they have it...try the rum cake! So delicious! I took my husband home a mini cherry pie and he really enjoyed it. We also got a selection of petit fours and they were also very good. The only thing we found odd was a couple of our "chocolate" choices were not chocolate cake. I wish that would have been clear and I almost gave 4 stars because of it...but the rum cake and the awesome staff makes a solid 5 stars.

Went here today (4/25/2022) on a whim to try it out. They were very kind and sweet when I walked in but wasn’t all that impressed with the actual cakes. Got 2 strawberry cupcakes and 2 petit fours (chocolate/Nutella and a coconut) they were very dry cakes in my opinion. Not worth the $11. But again they were very kind and nice. Wasn’t impressed that when I was there I saw them using what looked like a bucket of bought chocolate ganache. Would think that being a bakery they would make their own. Me not being a baker I have no idea honestly . There was a lady that walked in asking about a sheet cake and they said it was $80 for a basic one and I was taken back a bit (I think the lady was too because she walked out) by the price. Again they were nice just didn’t care for the actual cakes themselves.
