Sweetpea's Smokehouse

Driving through from Louisiana and we just stopped to eat some lunch. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was very friendly also. A little hidden gem in a small little town. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stop again.

Portion sides are very small . Got 2 ribs ond 1 as less than a inch wide and 3 in long. The best thing about my experience was the lady working the window was very nice. Food was below par compared to other bbq /smokehouses.

Good food and atmosphere. Smoked chicken was excellent. Sweet pea fries with brisket are great. Pork and brisket were okay. Icebox pie is excellent. Biggest complaint: the door chime IS TOO LOUD. 🛎

Happy accident that we found this place and we absolutely adored it!!!! The sweetpea fries and the chicken fried steak were both incredible and the service was lovely! If we ever head through here again, we will definitely be stopping by again.

Cute country restaurant. Locally owned. The owners are super nice and the food was good country meals! I got some really good cheese fries. Worth checking out or at least buying some farm fresh eggs.

Southern hospitality, delicious BBQ and fried okra served here! Don't let the modest building fool you. You won't regret stopping here. As of Nov 5th, drive thru only. FYI.

I had the bacon cheeseburger with seasoned fries and it was very good. It was a better burger than I get from some of the big name burger joints. Service was fast and extremely friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Three words: OH. MY. GOD. One of the best burgers I have ever had!!! I've been hearing from my girlfriend for a while about Sweetpeas, and they live up to everything I read on Facebook and what April told me. This is farther out than my usual reviews it's still a must-eat!!!

Delicious breakfast on days they open at 8am. Very small dining area, 6 tables.
