Onyx Coffee Lab - Fayetteville

Coffee is excellent, food is excellent, gift shop/coffee paraphernalia is cool.

Lack of flexibility behind the counter though. They don’t accept cash as legal tender- they only accept credit cards so if you are a Dave Ramsey fan, you will need to get your coffee elsewhere. Also the cortados are very small - one sip and it is gone - they will not make an extra large one for you - even if you try to slip them extra money under the table for a large one, they will reject it because they don’t accept legal tender. What is the point of legal tender if it is not accepted?

One of the cool coffee joints I have ever been to. The place looks so hip. The covid protection is very good at this place, with all masks on and social distancing etc. I stopped by for a cup of mocha and a chocolate croissant. I took them out as a togo order today. However, I’m a big fan of sitting inside a cafe with a cup of coffee and work in a laid back environment. I’m definitely going back soon.

The wife and I had a morning together and came here with a gift card. Typical modern coffee shop vibes. The wife loves the coffee here, I guess I just don't like this kind of coffee. But that's not on the business. Would recommend.

They have the best employees. Knowledgeable about coffee (well, at least they seem to be because I'm not), friendly, and they get drinks made quickly. Their drinks are very good and made with high quality ingredients.
Note that the banana bread is the driest I have ever had and is not worth buying.

Love the Onyx locations in Rogers and Bentonville! They both have friendly service and great atmosphere. My husband and I didn't know their was a Fayetteville location, so when we passed by this store, we were very excited. The service was below average . . . Probably the worst service we've ever gotten in NWA. It was all ladies working, and not one ever smiled at me or was welcoming. Won't be going to this location again because Onyx coffee isn't cheap 😅 . .. but, will definitely go to the other locations though!

The latte with white chocolate and a triple shot was so good. The breakfast sandwich was amazing!

Figs and cheese turnover is fantastic. I also like Sounthern weather coffee.

I really enjoyed the house-brewed coffee. The sausage kolache and spinach mushroom quiche were excellent. The space inside is nice, but it was a little loud for me.

I loved the coffee here. My husband not as much...so four stars instead of 5. SUPER nice staff. Seemed to know regulars and made visitors feel welcome too. Small. Not many seats, but great interior atmosphere.

This is a very nice and casual establishment! All of the staff was very sweet and they have numerous options! You can buy the ground coffee they use along with some snacks and merchandise. They also had a few unique coffee items such as coffee bloom honey and special coffee chocolate. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
