This is the best coffee shop at the University of Arkansas. The roasts are vibrant and tasty. I've tried many of their drinks and have never been disappointed. Their breakfast is really good My favorite is thier Bigger Breakfast Bagel. And my favorite drink to get there is a white chocolate mocha. If you happen to be in the union I would suggest going to this place for your food and beverage needs.

I like the Devils Den. It is really good with the salt. This place gets crowded but there is more space since people spill over into the union and the outside. The punch cards allow regulars to try the different drinks on the menu without much risk.

really great place! wonderful atmosphere and they’re fast. only problem is their drinks are sooo sugary, i wouldn’t suggest getting a flavored coffee. really great otherwise.

I frequent this coffee shop quite often. The ambiance and food are generally great, but I am deeply frustrated with the consistent misgendering I experience here, which has compelled me to leave this review.

Nearly every time I've visited, staff members have consistently referred to me, and others, by outdated honorifics such as "sir" or "ma'am" which don't match my expression nor name. Not only this, but they've also written down the opposite gender counterpart of my name even after I clearly state it. This is not only careless but deeply disrespectful and offensive.

In a society as diverse as ours, it is essential to understand and acknowledge that not everyone finds being called "sir" or "ma'am" to be a sign of respect. It is an unsettling throwback to historic England and American Slavery. This seemingly small detail can have a profound impact on customers like me who do not identify or feel comfortable with these traditional honorifics. This routine misgendering creates an uncomfortable environment and subjects me to unnecessary anxiety, which should not be the case in a setting as common and casual as a coffee shop where people go to relax.

It's especially disheartening given that this coffee shop is one of the few open places on campus during the summer. This leaves me with limited choices and the feeling of being forced to tolerate disrespectful treatment just to eat.

I urge the Chartwells and Hill Coffee management to provide sensitivity training for their staff on understanding and using appropriate gender-neutral language, and to implement practices that promote inclusivity. Misgendering is not a small issue to those it affects. It's a matter of basic respect and acknowledgement of our identities.

I hope this review leads to significant changes in how customers are treated at this coffee shop. I look forward to being able to give a better rating in the future based on the respect and consideration shown to all customers.

Their black coffee is very good! Mine was overfilled a bit so I spilled some but other than that, great coffee.

I personally feel the food is a bit overpriced, so if I were you I'd get coffee here and head down to the main dining area of the Union Building or across the room to Club Red for food.

This place has better drinks than I would've expected. My only issue is how ridiculously packed it is. I don't blame the place though, cause they have good drinks. I would recommend trying the "Old Main" drink they serve.
